Yes @Spasandstripes I got them from Asos in the sale :) They're pink acid wash but look more grey in the photo

@Justonedayatatime11 yes it was lovely.

Even better than normal as it's actually quite a small space so having empty tables was great. Cakes epic! The piano player was wonderful.

But the best bit was... we walked through Green Park down to the Mall and along to Buckingham Palace. It was deserted!

I worked in London for 20 years and it's just gobsmacking to see it without any tourists at all. Once in a lifetime.

Do it - you can literally walk up to the gates of the palace on your own. I was in shock - it was like having a view/private tour that not even visiting dignitaries get. Amazing.

No heatwave here but at least it’s big raining! Wearing ASOS dress, and Stan Smiths. DP keeps asking if I am off to plant potatoes because he thinks I look like a land girl. 🤔

I bloody love dropping on to these threads every so often. You're all looking awesome and I'm here sweating like a pig, stuck to my leather sofa in my pants and a ripped old grey t-shirt with bleach stains on it. No bra. Messy bun.

@TheMostHappy I was dripping with the most unglamorous sweat all day with my dress stuck to my back. Then we got a breeze. Then the bloody people staying next door out antiheroes BBQ so I had to go in and shut all doors and windows! ( DD has severe asthma and just the smell on me would set it off).

@Shannith I worked in Whitehall and previously lived in London and I have never seen it like that! Not even Christmas Day! Wow oh wow

I have worn three different outfits today and have sweated through them all 😩.

I'm so late to the party today everyone had gone home 😉
I was wearing the dress pictured at the start of the day but realised that because the back is low in constantly rearranging it. I might see if I can find a bra to work with it sometime.

I then changed into a jumpsuit my mum dad & bought for me at a charity shop my husband doesn't like it bit I think it looks good and fine for casual wear.

*has not had stupid auto correct!

It’s so humid I think we have a thunderstorm on the way! Great forecast here again which is making me happy. I hope everyone enjoys the weekend

I’m with you @Lobsterquadrille2 - I’m really glad to have a couple of days off work. I’d love a holiday really, but I’m not sure I dare book anything. Although I might try and go to see my parents before anything else changes (they’re less than 2 miles outside the boundary of the area covered by the new restrictions).

Much cooler today, and overcast at the moment. Max temperature today is forecast to be 23C (it hit 35C yesterday).

Just been out to a retail park 15 mins away glad we got there early as people were queueing to get into Primark when we left. Bought a dress and the kids some bits most importantly for the birthday present we actually went to get 😉

Thanks @Shannith that's cheered me up I'm having a down moment as really struggling to lose weight off my waist at the moment but if I'm honest with myself I'm not actually focusing on it enough and just expecting it to be easy when I'm getting towards middle aged.

@Sickoffamilydrama we are our own worst critics. You have a fantastic figure and you rock a jumpsuit. Middle aged? Pah

@Sickoffamilydrama you do look amazing in that jumpsuit. Gorgeous figure. I have put on loads of weight around my middle and although I'm a healthy vegan who exercises everyday I find the only thing that works is low carb/keto diet and no alcohol.

No outfits from me for a while. I've been in old denim shorts and vests painting and gardening. Off to my mum's on the Isle of Wight next week so will try and up my game.

@Sickoffamilydrama it’s true. You look great. I’ve found it harder to keep weight off post menopause ( especially with DH here always eating) but you look lovely. Try not to worry about it. Healthy is what you need

Had a mainly garden day and even ate dinner outside as no BBQs meant we could. Almost like bring on holiday!
Variation on a theme with bikini top as I simply cannot cope with the thickness and wires of strapless bras. If anyone knows one that holds you up with no wires or padding?

Loose clothing is the order of the day here. We had friends round for a bbq and I ate (and drank) far too much! The bloat is real.

Pretty top @toastfiend I love gingham. I'm off out with my dogs to tramp around the forest and get lost as usual!
