@Shannith I absolutely love the way your cat is seemingly regarding your boots with a critical eye 😀. Great boots - and everyone's outfits too. It's month end reporting here so I was in pyjamas all day .... 😳

@Lobsterquadrille2 bloody cat as she's known. A foster than seems to be staying. Has paired up with my actual cat and taught her to hunt. That look she's giving me... she's copying the look I gave her as a rescued a very vocal juvenile backside from my bedroom earlier.

Oh dear umm. Blackbird obviously. No backsides, juvenile or otherwise have been seen in my bedroom for quite some time.

Ooh Shannith I like your boots! I just bought 3 pairs of Dublin boots . I think I may have a boot obsession going on since lockdown....

I hope everyone is well and don’t mind me barging in again. I’ve been working hard (not very successfully) to lose some lockdown flab before I post again. You all look lovely as ever and I’m feeling inspired to make an effort!

Whoops I'm off work this week and the change in routine means I keep forgetting to post. This is yesterday's outfit my Dsis has had a big turnout and she put there's two out.

Hi all. Haven't posted in a few days as we finally had the hot weather here and I just don't cope with it! I literally go through vest tops and baggy shorts and soak them with a water sprayer so cool myself down. Also fed up about all the weight I've put on and don't seem to be losing so don't feel like wearing cute summer outfits- boo hoo! Come at me, Autumn/winter.

@Shannith good spot! I did get my hair cut (and had my highlights done again), it's been so nice to be rid of the brassy, orange tone my old colour had gone! 😂 Whereabouts is your riding holiday? I'm hopefully planning one with some friends for next year, thinking of Ireland and might fit in a bit of horse shopping at the same time (although I've not told DH that yet...) 😂

It's my birthday today so we've been out for lunch. Its been such a lovely day. Started the day in my new dungarees, which DH bought for me, then changed into a dress from my best friend for lunch.

@toastfiend that dress is marvellous. Holiday is in Suffolk with lots of beach rides. I'd love to go to Ireland to ride... and horse shopping. I don't think I could be trusted, I managed to buy a horse at the festival from an Irishman so I'd be dangerous in actual Ireland.

@Justonedayatatime11 I admire your dedication to the purchase of excellent boots in inappropriate weather. I'm riding first thing tomorrow as it's going to be 35 degrees. Horse would melt, let alone me.

Laughing at the horse chat. I am in Ireland but don’t know anything about horses. I did find a random field (I live in the city) with a few the other day on one of my walks though. It’s become an attraction for dd and ds now 😂

I’m WFH in a different location today (the garden of my childhood home). It’s not going to be quite as warm here as it is back at home (25C rather than 34C), so I’m in trousers for the time being.
