Neither the dress nor the tiara are my personal favourites.

But bloody hell it’s got class.

Granny’s dress and tiara turn it from ‘shameful secret wedding because daddy can’t be seen in public anymore’ to ‘intimate family occasion fully supported and loved by Grandmother, The Queen’. I think it’s a huge showing of support from the Queen to her granddaughter and that’s lovely.

@frugalkitty I think Kate would look good in Gambia's flag, three stripes of deep red, blue and green, they're Kate's colours!

We'll know she reads here if she follows this tip!

It seems that CPV is trying to outdo the DoC in the salmon pink trouser suit category. I'm not a fan of either suit I'm afraid. The colour makes me think of Elastoplast or calamine lotion as pictured below.

I like the term Scoutfit that you seem to have coined Bosco.

I'm strangely drawn to the flag dresses.

"Scoutfit". Excellent. Bless Kate, she is the queen of literal dressing, isn't she? The foreign tours a collection of symbolic outfits and colours. I don't know why Vic is dressed in that suit - it's most unflattering in shade and style. Calamine lotion is so true!!

On my phone that suit looks more like the colour of uncooked salmon.

I think CPV has lost her Working wardrobe Mojo of late. Unless it's all out occasion wear in which case they are rather nice.

It's a really popular colour here, I kind of see why some people like it but I don't see why it has to be EVERYWHERE.

I like the pink trousers but the style of jacket is unflattering particularly with the pink ruffled blouse underneath.

Sophie has been out again today visiting a farm. She looks lovely but a strange choice of outfit for feeding animals!

Just an aside I had one of those flag dresses for a party many years ago. I mixed up my flags - should have been Belgium and ended up as Germany! 😂

We need to stage an intervention with Vic. Get her back to the flowery H&M dresses and confiscate the Cliff Richard at Eurovision suits.

Goodness Max, that's very very orange - she reminds me of an old-fashioned sellophaned bottle of Lucozade with all those folds everywhere.
She even blends in with the pavement.
