Neither the dress nor the tiara are my personal favourites.

But bloody hell it’s got class.

Granny’s dress and tiara turn it from ‘shameful secret wedding because daddy can’t be seen in public anymore’ to ‘intimate family occasion fully supported and loved by Grandmother, The Queen’. I think it’s a huge showing of support from the Queen to her granddaughter and that’s lovely.

Meghan somehow manages to make the double denim work. Not many people would look good in that outfit, but she does.

I think Mary's dress is a nice cut but that peachy nude colour is awful imo, and does nothing for her. The colour reminds me of the dress the DoC wore to Pippa's wedding, which I think was mainly panned on here?

I really like Mary's dress! But I was very much the minority loving Kate's nude/peachy dress for Pippa's wedding, so there you go!
I don't like double denim on anyone, too 80's for me! MM's best look for me is a white shirt and jeans. I'm not a fan of her, but have always thought she looks great and makes 'casual dressing' look chic.

Kate's dress for pippa wedding was horrible the colour the saggy chest even the hat was a miss for me Mary's is at least a nice cut very few people can pull off that shade of nude for me though.

It's a Marc Jacobs dress which she also has is orange which is 100% better for me. Although it seems to be a royal thing to buy one item in multiple colours not just a Kate thing!

Only glanced at it quickly but it must have been elsewhere!

Anyway, I definitely don't like double denim and wasn't overly keen on Mary's dress either but can't actually say why. 🤔

I’ve just spotted that Angela Kelly’s book, The Other Side of the Coin: The Queen, the Dresser and the Wardrobe, is the Kindle Deal of the Day today. A snip at 99 pence instead of £20. Said to be approved by Her Maj, it will be a jolly and pleasant read, with no murky secrets revealed!

Sophie has been to visit the Thames Valley Air Ambulance this morning.

She looks good in a trousers blouse blazer combo appropriate but not old fashioned.

I can't believe the Air Ambulances don't get NHS/Government funding & rely on donations.
I got told it's because they can be independent by not relying on the public purse.
When William was working at the East Anglia Air Ambulance didn't he donate his salary/or not take his salary from the EA Air Ambulance?

They do take some grants I think are the best word from the government but they feel that the can better do their jobs without government funding one in Devon even had to ask people to stop starting petitions to get government funding as the didn't want it. I think a lot of things like the RNLI ect run in a similar way.

William donated his after tax salary to an undisclosed charity I believe I might be wrong though it could have been the air ambulance. I'm fairly sure he took a salary though as I remember a lot of fuss about how he would pay tax ect.

Sophie looks good there though if I'm nitpicking I'd say the bag doesn't quite go with the overall look.

That's a very good article. I liked the fact that it mentioned women (though I know men can experience domestic violence & abuse) although relieved to escape the abuse can still grieve for the relationship (all their hopes & dreams) they once had pre -abuse.

I'm really pleased that a senior high profile member of the Royal Family are involved in this.

The orange version of Mary's dress, with the neck open, is a revelation. I'm not a fan of that dusty rose colour. It screams '1980s' to me, and not in a good way.

I have such a crush on Maxima! She literally looks like a ray of sunshine in that photo, but on paper head to toe bright yellow wouldn't work for almost anyone else.
Her charisma and confidence is inspiring to me.
