Neither the dress nor the tiara are my personal favourites.

But bloody hell it’s got class.

Granny’s dress and tiara turn it from ‘shameful secret wedding because daddy can’t be seen in public anymore’ to ‘intimate family occasion fully supported and loved by Grandmother, The Queen’. I think it’s a huge showing of support from the Queen to her granddaughter and that’s lovely.

Not Royal, though she might have been, Cressida Bonas got married last weekend. I’ve not seen any photos of the dress, only one of her on horseback in the distance.

I have to say Cressida's husband Harry is very handsome.

Interesting article in the DM today about a front cover headline in a Spanish magazine describing Princess Amalia as 'plus size'. It reminded me of the articles years back when the Swedish royals confirmed CP Victoria was anorexic. A reminder that women can't 'win' whatever body shape and size they are, someone is out to criticise.

I saw Cressida Bonas in Zara once. She had lovely hair and skin but also wasn’t someone with any star power. Only realised it was her when my friend nudged me. Whereas I once saw Kate Moss in a restaurant and it was like a celestial vision - nobody in the room could tear their their eyes away.

Sorry that sounded bitchy - I meant star power because she’s an actress.

He is indeed, better looking than her even! William and Harry's cousin, Louis Spencer, looks just like him.

Princess Amalia is only 16, I can't believe a magazine would be talking about her size and body. Royal women are regularly criticised about all sorts and the men seem to get away with so much!

I think they’re both gorgeous! She’s got an understated beauty maybe, rather than a show stopper but that can be nicer.

I’m not commenting on the 16 year old coz that’s grim. Except to say poor girl the press should know better.

Camilla has been out and about today a little stroll to the national gallery and then boots partly to look at their safe space project and some others they work with Camilla on.

Dress is a rewear but I think this is Camilla's first time in a mask.

I read the article about Maxima's DD and was very upset (my DD is the same age). The princess is so beautiful, just like her mum. But even if she was not, no one should be publishing comments on the appearance of a 16 year old girl.

Whew, it is so hard raising teens to be resilient, I don't envy Maxima and Willem Alexander their job (nor indeed any of the Royal parents, I assume it will be the same when the Spanish Royals and the Danish Royals get to that age).

Harry2 has a tragic backstory. His elder brother committed suicide. His mother is married to the Marquis of Milford Haven, ie a descendant of Louis Mountbatten so a cousin of Prince Philip. A walk in MH centre was opened in liverpool (I think) and William attended the launch story here

oh my! that princess is young and beautiful and has tons of time to grow into her frame. the lazy journo that referred to her as such should be disciplined.

Anne has guest edited the latest edition of Country Life to mark her 70th birthday in August (15th?). Fly tipping, wind turbines, solar energy all get a mention, along with her love of nature & country pursuits.

Very nasty re Amalia. I hope the magazine suffers though I feel sorry for any innocent employees and their families that would be impacted by that.

There's a documentary, "Anne: The Princess Royal at 70" on ITV at 9 pm tonight.
