@Sickoffamilydrama the print on your dress is lovely! @Sooverthemill I hope you find your tee ❤

Softpebbles · 12/05/2020 19:39

@Sooverthemill what a lovely idea with your daughters and other sufferers shoes. Must be really hard. I hope your T-shirt turns up.

Windy, Cold and dull here jeans and a hoody.

Sooverthemill · 13/05/2020 08:43

Thank you, everyone. I'm just a mum doing what anyone else would do. I confess I had a little weep today about DD. Rarely happened these days but today I just felt so sad for her.

Anyway, today is bloody freezing so we have the heating on. DD isn't well at all, we have had some rubbish nights and I'm knackered, she has a temperature and threw up a lot yesterday so I'm keeping an eagle eye on her,

I have a favour. Is this dress awful? I can't decide. It was £22 from Asos but I'm not sure the shape is right on me. It's lovely and light though I'd have to be thoughtful about what underwear to wear !
Tee: gap
Jeans: hush ( to tired to think)
Sandals: air and grace

Dress: ASOS

@Sooverthemill - please don’t apologise. It’s a very poignant way to mark the occasion. Love to you and Rosie.

I’m back in a jumper today. It’s sunny, but still feels cold. Maybe I’ll warm up when the sun comes round to this side of the house in the afternoon (my window faces West).

Jumper: Jigsaw
Jeans: Mint Velvet
Trainers: Mint Velvet

@soover, I really like the dress - I think adding a wide neutral-colored belt will give it a nice boho vibe

EllaPaella · 13/05/2020 09:41

Facebook bee T-shirt finally arrived (8 weeks later). 'Tis just a cheapo t shirt with a print on and nothing like it was advertised as but it's a happy colour Smile

@Ellapaella what a shame but as you say it's a lovely colour!

Sooverthemill · 13/05/2020 09:47

I'm waiting for three charity tees to arrive, the comic relief one plus two for food charities. Ordered weeks ago....

onestepat · 13/05/2020 10:10

@Sooverthemill love the dress.

EllaPaella · 13/05/2020 10:14

@Sooverthemill I love that dress and in fact if you have a link and don't mind sharing that would be great, it's a perfect summer dress.

happytobemrsg · 13/05/2020 10:26

I like the dress @Sooverthemill! Looks very comfy & light. Perfect for summer. You could always add a belt if you want - I do that for my smock dresses.

Today it’s a bit chilly so I was pleased to see my denim dungarees also works for colder weather.

Jumper: New Look
Dungarees: Lucy & Yak

Morning all I know a few of you like jumpsuits and dungarees I came across this website rockthejumpsuit.com/collections/the-conscious-core-collection it's very ££££ but they do look beautiful shapes. I really need an excuse to wear & afford one of the sequin ones, see the picture. I like this smart one as well.

Today I'm in my favourite Boden trousers
Rapuni T shirt.

Dungarees day today. I'm meeting a friend for a socially distanced walk later and I can't wait. Having a bit of a rough time at the moment and will be good to chat. Plus these dungarees always cheer me up (although they're absolutely enormous on me, but I do love them).

Dungarees - Lucy & Yak
Top - Boden

@Sooverthemill I really like that dress. Smile

Softpebbles · 13/05/2020 11:14

Oh no toast. Hope you feel better after your walk.

Terrible photo but I was bored with jeans. Cargo pants, ‘the’ hoody!

Cargo pants are new from new look. Tiny. It baggy at the bottom but cost £15 so for that I am happy!

happytobemrsg · 13/05/2020 11:24

Love your dungarees @toastfiend, I hope your walk helps you feel better. I’ve been missing running so I got back into it yesterday.

They ARE expensive @Sickoffamilydrama but I only looked for 30 seconds & like about 50 of them 😂

Got some deliveries today- so excited!!!

@Ellapaella here you are. It's gone back up to £27

Sooverthemill · 13/05/2020 11:31

@toastfiend I'm so sorry you are having a hard time at the moment. Hoping seeing your friend helps. Try to do something for yourself every day even if it's just listening to a track you love x

Shannith · 13/05/2020 12:06

@Sooverthemill I actually really like that dress. You'd feel all lady of the manor wafting about in it.

You could funk it up with a belt and a denim jacket (though that feels a bit Styled by Susie, not necessarily a bad thing).

I like it. I live the dream that one day I too will waft about in white cotton dress looking elegant and cool rather than slightly grubby with paw prints on the front and old grey knickers showing. I can hope...

Shannith · 13/05/2020 12:14

@toastfiend sorry you are having a tough time. I hope your lovely dungarees and friend make you smile.

@Sickoffamilydrama I would kill for an occasion to wear a sequined jumpsuit.

I'm so tempted to order just so I can try on but I'm dreadful at sending things back. Burvas establishes when I went digging for things to wear in sequin Saturday I have only a tiny purple sequin bra from my long distant youth. So my wardrobe is devoid of sparkle which is a shame.

@Ellapaella I love that colour on you. Yellow is such a cheerful colour and you are lucky it really suits you.

I'm waiting for my new running trainers to turn up - will take a photo when they do.

EllaPaella · 13/05/2020 14:06

@Softpebbles love the hoody

EllaPaella · 13/05/2020 14:06

Hope everything is ok @toastfiend

happytobemrsg · 13/05/2020 14:47

Opened my L&Y bits. Unfortunately both Boilersuits are too big & the green is completely underwhelming 😞

TheOnlyMrsW · 13/05/2020 14:52

@toastfiend hope your dungas and walk helped, I plan on doing the same at the weekend with my bestie! @Sooverthemill love the dress, I would team it with boots and a biker jacket, with loads of bangles. Hope your dd improves as much as is possible.
Leggings - Next
Vest & top - Ruby and Daisy
