Thanks so much for all the birthday wishes, everyone! I had a lovely day with a lot of cake 🧁

@toastfiend seven pairs is totally fine. I just wish I had some! I've got dungaree envy.

Thanks for the link @EllaPaella - I will take a look, although they might be a bit short on me (5'11").

I'm going straight from a zoom lesson into a yoga class so I'm looking very slouchy today.

Top is Oliver Bonas
Trousers are N and Willow (a great little online brand)

Welcome to the thread @cravingthelook. I know what you mean about needing inspiration to get dressed at the moment.

It’s forecast to be warm today, so I’ve abandoned my jumper in favour of a somewhat crumpled top. Still haven’t made it as far as flip flops/sandals though. I might regret that this afternoon when the sun comes round to my window.

Top: Warehouse
Belt: Mint Velvet
Trousers: Warehouse
Trainers: Jigsaw

Welcome @cravingthelook! I find getting properly dressed every day definitely helps.

@toastfiend 7 pairs of dungarees cannot be seen as excessive if you wear them every day. Useful review of the difference between brands too.

It might be hot here today I think so I'm dressed for sunniness

Jumper: old hush and I remembered it has sparkles!
Jeans: j crew bought in end of season sale last summer for £42 and now back full price on the site for £143!
Tee: spark note ( insta brand)
Sandals: air and grace

I've cleaned whole house while it's not too warm and now may paint my toenails again.

Have a good day everyone

@itssquidstella sorry I missed it was your birthday, hope you had a lovely day.

@toastfiend what a cow that woman was! Honestly some people are just utter twats. I love all your dungarees and think you look great. I have a pair of run and fly dungarees as one of my local boutiques stocks R&F. Mine are skinny dungas, I have them in black. I absolutely love them and the denim is so soft.

EllaPaella · 23/04/2020 09:06

I will probably just be wearing joggers today. No plans to do anything other than some baking (it's my birthday tomorrow so making a cake with the kids) and a dog walk. More home school with DC.
I was about to order some tops from Hush but then had a look at NewLook and have put an order in - I actually found some lovely summer tops and a nice floral dress. And 5 items from NL was still cheaper than 2 from Hush so win win.

Also @itssquidstella I have caved an ordered a hoodie from Sweaty Betty, the cropped one. I have high hopes!

itssquidstella · 23/04/2020 09:07

Nice sparkles @Sooverthemill!

@toastfiend I love a headband; what a horrible woman you had the misfortune to encounter.

@EllaPaella thank you! I have just bought a pair of Hush jeans - I'll consider it a birthday present to myself 😊

cravingthelook · 23/04/2020 09:43

Happy belated birthday @itssquidstella

First day for me

Navy Jeggings - TU Sainsbury's
Dark grey embellished Jumper- Dorothy Perkins
Cat Slippers - Primark

I will put boots on later if I need to go outside 😊

@Ellapaella I wasn't on the Hush thread & im an HCA not a nurse, think you have got me mixed up!

EllaPaella · 23/04/2020 10:04

@Terralee must have done, sorry! Hope things are ok for you at work with all the current goings on.

TheOnlyMrsW · 23/04/2020 10:12

@TheOnlyMrsW what a cool jacket!

toastfiend · 23/04/2020 10:26

Cool jacket @TheOnlyMrsW. Smile

@Ellapaella very jealous you have a R&F stockist near you!

I am diverging very slightly from dungas today, but keeping the Lucy & Yak love going. Bit boring, though, I'm afraid, as I wear this boilersuit lots! Now the weather is getting noticeably warmer I have noticed a complete lack of short-sleeve t-shirts/vest tops in my wardrobe. Might be a post-payday online shop for them coming up, I feel!

EllaPaella · 23/04/2020 10:32

Love your outfit today @TheOnlyMrsW - very boho

PalacePaper · 23/04/2020 11:48

Welcome @cravingthelook I like your jumper today. Also like yours @Sooverthemill - I'm a sucker for stars, especially glittery ones!

I've gone for layers today as it's sunny but chilly indoors. Jeans are Levi's which I only wear in the summer as I prefer them rolled up. T-shirt is mint velvet and the jumper is very old from mango. I haven't worn it for years.

Star Jeans - H&M
Awesome t-shirt - I got this in a girls boutique in the US
Trainers - Clarks

happytobemrsg · 23/04/2020 14:26

Absolutely amazed at that woman @toastfiend. How dare she be so rude?! I HATE rudeness. I’m very tempted to get the green fox cotton dungarees but I’m average in the body, not long. L&Y are perfect on me. If they were still posting orders I’d be getting my dungaree fix from them right now. Not sure what to do.

@Ellapaella I love you yellow Veja so much I’m wondering if my thoughts on getting all white trainers when all this is over is kinda boring... 🤔

WFH today. Lovely sitting by the open window.

T-shirt - New Look
Trousers - Lucy & Yak
Belt - Gucci

Welcome @cravingthelook I know what you mean about seeing your children develop their own style my eldest has very much her own look I would describe it as slightly grunge (but cleaner not the grunge of my youth which was basically not washing for days).

@toastfiend glad it was water off a ducks back, it does annoy me how some people self appoint themselves as the clothing police 👮

Slightly against the thread I'm wearing my new monki skirt today, with a t shirt from next.

EllaPaella · 23/04/2020 15:42

Love the skirt @Sickoffamilydrama

This is what I ended up wearing today:
FatFace Joggers, Cami top Matalan, Havainana flipflops and Oliver Bonas Cardigan

happytobemrsg · 23/04/2020 17:42

Haha I came on to comment about how nice your cardigan was @Ellapaella, then saw it was the same one I bought after seeing it on you 😂

I went to buy the fox dungarees & they went out of stock so that sorts out that dilemma! Still, my new headband has arrived Grin

OP posts:
TheOnlyMrsW · 23/04/2020 19:03

@itssquidstella @toastfiend thank you, it was about £30 (very expensive for Primark at the time) so I nearly didn't buy it but the back makes me smile every time! @Ellapaella thank you too! I love a boho vibe and am a sucker for anything tie-dye - it's much easier to achieve when it's sunny than when it's freezing and wet Grin. @Sickoffamilydrama that skirt is lovely - the colour is fab!

toastfiend · 23/04/2020 19:38

@happytobemrsg try Strawberry Meerkat, Thunderegg, Yella Brick Road, or The Norse Nook if you do still want fox dungas. Smile R&F have stopped production during lockdown, I think, so lots of places are lower in stock than usual, but I was eyeing up the fox dungas the other day and I definitely saw some in stock in one of the places listed above, just can't remember where!

And thanks @Judystilldreamsofhorses! Smile DH reckons I look like Bev Goldberg in it, but I love it! 😂

toastfiend · 23/04/2020 19:40

Also, Bev is a style icon, so I'm ok with it even if I do! 😂

happytobemrsg · 23/04/2020 20:06

Thanks for the heads up @toastfiend! I’ve bought the fox ones! I was very tempted by some dinosaur ones but decided to see the fit on the fox ones first (who knows - maybe dinosaurs will be a step too far 😂😂)
