Some great outfits on here today. I'll have to make more of an effort tomorrow! I've just bought some Hush jeans and a couple of All Saints tops from John Lewis online - I'll post some pictures when they arrive :)

happytobemrsg · 23/04/2020 20:29

Looking forward to seeing your haul @itssquidstella!

Me too, @happytobemrsg! I got a bit trigger-happy on the website...

Judystilldreamsofhorses · 23/04/2020 20:56

sickof that Monki skirt is great. I have the same one in a couple of prints, they are so nice. This one is my fave.

Definite style icon, toastfiend!

happytobemrsg · 23/04/2020 21:51

Soooo the limited edition dungarees were back in stock on the L&Y site in my size & I went ahead & preordered them before they went! That’s it. No more ordering & back to “shopping my wardrobe”!

@itssquidstella I’m as bad as you!!

OP posts:
itssquidstella · 23/04/2020 21:53

@happytobemrsg oh no you're tempting me to put a pre-order in too!

happytobemrsg · 23/04/2020 22:11

Ooooooo @itssquidstella what are you considering??

OP posts:
happytobemrsg · 23/04/2020 22:17

They are lovely @itssquidstella. I have the Atlas ones which are a similar colour I think & it’s gorgeous. The denim is so soft it’s ridiculous. I’m wearing mine tomorrow.

I just checked & the dungarees I just ordered are now out of stock again in my size so I must have got the last ones available 😅

happytobemrsg · 23/04/2020 22:48

@itssquidstella I think the Easton ones are a heavier denim if that helps make up your mind at all. I think toast has the light Atlas ones as well

OP posts:
toastfiend · 23/04/2020 23:35

I do have the light wash Atlas, yeah. Mine have otters painted on them, but they're light wash Atlas. Smile I love them, so soft and comfy!

@itssquidstella I tried the denim Eastons too and they're gorgeous. They're still soft but a different cut to the Atlas. The Atlas are oversized and loose fitting. The Eastons are more fitted around the torso and hips (they have buttons on the hips and belt loops). I generally wear a S32 in L&Y dungas, but would have felt more comfortable in the M32 in the denim Eastons (though I believe the corduroy Eastons come up big). I couldn't justify keeping the ones I ordered, unfortunately, as we had a big unexpected vet bill for my horse, but I'm still considering buying them at some stage. They're lovely.

Hope you love the fox dungas when they arrive @happytobemrsg. I love the dino ones. They're definitely on my list of "things I'd like to buy!"

itssquidstella · 24/04/2020 07:50

Thanks for the advice, @toastfiend and @happytobemrsg! I think I'll get the Eastons 😊

Sooverthemill · 24/04/2020 08:44

@cravingthelook fab look for the DD! A style icon in the making.

@Sickoffamilydrama I also love the skirt

I'm going Greek widow look today because DH told me it will be as hot as Greece today ( my favourite place)

Some great looks at the moment. And I’m finding it harder and harder to resist the temptation of dungarees! It would be very easy to spend a lot of money...

My jumpsuit has arrived and I'm pleasantly surprised, it only looks a little bit dumpy which should be ok once I can get it taken up. Plus it has pockets Grin. Today's dress is from a local shop to us, will put my denim jacket on to queue at the shops later.....happy sunshine for all who have it today!!!

Thanks @Sooverthemill

@TheOnlyMrsW loving the jumpsuit

DD and I are in the same jeans today (hanging round the house just doesn't get us at all dirty) so I paired my navy jeggings with a black wrap top from Desigual

And DD picked out this shirt (from Primark - was given to me by my best friend who's daughter is 2 years older. DD gets loads from BF'sD they have just similar styles)
It looks awesome with those jeans and her dark pinky/purple glasses

cravingthelook · 24/04/2020 10:18

@toastfiend I so might have to get on the dungarees trend, yours are great.

I will not buy anything else during lockdown... I will not 😄

I don't have my eye on the SilkFred Dove dress in several colours/prints nope not me

Justonedayatatime11 · 24/04/2020 10:52

cravingthelook I fell in love with the dove dresses and ordered 2. They're definitely beautiful. Unfortunately they're also made of some awful material that's so full of static electricity it could power a small country Sad

Judystilldreamsofhorses · 24/04/2020 11:19

Happy Friday everyone! I'm wearing a Topshop dress, for #dressUPfriday, with black Vejas. Still not warm enough for bare legs here, so opaque tights are GO.

PalacePaper · 24/04/2020 11:19

I really like your jumpsuit @TheOnlyMrsW , looks great. Where's it from?

I've ordered some new workout clothes from M&S and they've just arrived - I'm really pleased with them. The leggings are totally opaque and no VPL, and supportive but comfy at the same time. I'd already done HIIT and yoga before they arrived so will test them out properly tomorrow.

It's lovely and sunny here, but cold in the house, so I'm wearing my hush harems and a very old top from fat face.

Happy Friday everyone Smile

Beautiful dress @Judystilldreamsofhorses

Judystilldreamsofhorses · 24/04/2020 11:43

Thank you @palacepiper - I had to get it shortened a bit, but I love it so much.

Sickoffamilydrama · 24/04/2020 12:23

Thanks for the skirt love all.
@Judystilldreamsofhorses I love your skirt I didn't see that pattern so maybe they no longer stock it. I can see me have loads with different patterns!

@TheOnlyMrsW I like the jumpsuit I wonder if it would sit better if the shoulders are taken up as well that's something I've seen done in the past. Not that it looks bad now.

Inspired by @toastfiend boilersuits I have copied the rolling up of the sleeves and trouser legs on my jumpsuit today.

Jumpsuit Ted Baker my Dsis bought it me for my Bday and I would never have chosen it but she got it spot on as love it. I've worn it with pewter brogues and gold jewellery which really worked.
