Happy Friday, everyone! Today I am doing #dressupfriday in a Warehouse dress, and my Veja trainers. Still too cold for bare legs, and mine would get sent to the gorilla enclosure promptly.

Hello! Work is suddenly crazy, so I didn’t get round to posting earlier. I’m dressed for (virtual) meetings - so many meetings!

I’ll have to leave catching up on everyone else’s outfits this evening.

@happytobemrsg yes they are soooo comfy! Like walking on air. Already decided that I will bet another pair in the autumn for winter. I wish I had bought these really than the 4 cheaper pairs I have! ( though I love my jigsaw ones especially).

@itssquidstella I am a terrible Boden buyer I reckon half my wardrobe is from there ( always on discount). Their fit and quality is very consistent and customer service is great. They have responded to coronavirus by giving clothes to patients and staff that have nothing decent to wear home. They make a fortune I know and are expensive but I wear things I bought in 2006 still ( Breton, trousers, jumpers). I don't buy their silk because it's too much money and my animals would ruin in but take a look. 20% off H6N9

Hi All. Just catching up. Had a rubbish morning. DH spilled strong black coffee all over pale wool loop pile carpet just before a zoom meeting so I had to clean it up before rushing off the work. This was my outfit. Skirt from Oasis, top from Shein (everything else I bought from there was truly awful and I regret it), shoes are Dune.

@hairydogmummy they are air and grace. Only had a few weeks but wearing with all my jeans and will wear with dresses/ skirts too. Was thinking about a dress/ jumper combo tomorrow with them

@Sooverthemill they're fab and that sounds like a good plan. Thinking of platform trainers but feel like I'd have to try them on in a shop to see what they'd be like. The extra height would be handy for me with midi skirts I think?

Love the idea of dressing for dinner @itssquidstella there is nothing else to dress for apart from the supermarket or the odd trip to work! Might suggest a restaurant take out and dressing for dinner to DH tomorrow eve. He might get the wrong idea tho!

Really like your skirt @Hairydogmummy. I have one midi skirt which I LOVE but it’s silky & not really practical on a day I’m with the DC. Maybe I’ll wear it on one of my work days if I can face wearing tights!

I have a question - so many of you post photos at home wearing footwear. Do you wear shoes around the house? Or is that just what you would have worn?

@happytobemrsg thanks, I live &other stories knitwear! It's to my eternal sadness that I'm too tall for their jumpsuits :(

I don't wear shoes around the house as a rule but I've taken a couple of pictures when I'm about to go out so I can show them along with the outfit.

I often wear shoes yes, especially in summer cos I always put Birkenstock's on. I wear slippers in winter though but only when I've been out and come in! Rarely barefoot these days. My feet get too cold!

I wear my uggs or flip flops round the house depending on how warm it is!!

I usually take my 'outdoors' footwear off inside unless I feel lazy.
