So excited about my new handbag

I went to my first Aspinal outlet sale in London today.

Whatever you buy is as seen and you can't return it.

I attach a photo of the bag I bought. It wasn't the bag I was hoping to get, but I never thought I'd be able to acquire the one I actually did buy.

What do you all think? It was definitely worth the train/tube/half a mile walk in the absolutely pouring rain because I wasn't sure exactly where the shop was. I'm just sitting here sort of stroking it and deciding when its first outing will be.

It’s just a bag you know? If you’d bought it from the local market for £20 would you still feel the same way?
As you can probably guess, I just don’t get this obsession with expensive bags, in fact, along with expensive shoes it’s actually quite sad.

I bought a London tote recently and Marylebone last year from there. They also have 15% off evenings and 20% for 02 customers at certain times.

I'm also a fan of Aspinal bags.

It was £275 instead of £1250. It didn't come with a dustbag or box. DM bought a midi Madison for £250. I originally wanted a midi London tote but there were none there.

It was a room in a shop two doors down the street from the main shop, called Showcase. They had many different items for sale, as seen.

Evidently there's a Mulberry outlet sale on 10? March but you have to join showcase and book your ticket or you won't get in. I couldn't justify going so soon after today. Hope this information is of interest.

@SuperPug what's the Icon outlet? Is it the same place - in Regent Street St James's?

Yes, it's a Florence, a large one. There were a few smaller Florences in green croc which were also tempting but they didn't have shoulder straps and I couldn't remember if they're meant to.

When you go into the outlet you have to check your coat and any bags. They give you a see-through bag for your purse and card case but I forgot to take my phone out of my bag.

Lovely. I got an Aspinal Lottie for Christmas which I adore and it feels so special using it. Rather gutted I didn't know about the sale!

I didn't know about the Regent St one, I'll look it up.
Icon Outlet is part of the 02 arena. Always seems fairly quiet there.
