Catherine and William off to Ireland on March 3rd so hopefully some lovely outfits to discuss in a couple of weeks.

Or a re-wear of her dozens of green coats?!!

Oh dear, I don't like anything about Kate's look today. I really hate black and navy together, and the shape/cut of the outfit is all wrong. The less said about Camilla's dreadful hat, the better.

I think my issue is the waist of the jacket and the pleats of the skirt create an unbalanced gap. I like both items separately.

Kate's wearing McQueen and today is the 10th anniversary of Lee McQueen's death. I'd like to think she's wearing it as a tribute

I agree with the PP comments - sister wife and Mary Poppins.

A bit odd if a 70-something year old is looking fresher and more modern than you are. To think that Alexander McQueen was one of the most avant-garde designers there was (RIP, ten years ago today).

But it's not like she hasn't got any other McQueen outfits to wear in tribute @chartreuse!

I too think Kate’s skirt is awful today; if a leggy woman of 5 foot 10 can’t pull that style off then it’s just wrong.

Actually having just said that, maybe the skirt would look awesome on someone curvier?

Anyway, I’m just on here to plaintively wish she wore trousers more often; I think she looks fabulous in them and less severe than she does in many of her skirts/dresses.

Today’s look is very severe, and not in a good way.

Her hair looks great though and she’s very smiley.

I think Camilla looked a bit cold, and those fur hats are a signature item of hers (Locke I Think). Meghan probably borrowed Camilla's bag for that outing. I'd love one, but the cognac suede version (to go with a severe slim grey outfit).

Tootree, I love slim severe navy too which is why I think she’s taken it too far if even I think it’s too slim and too severe (and too navy, of which I don’t really believe there can ever be too much)

The skirt isn't particularly slim though. If it had been, and it had been knee length, that would've made the outfit so much better.

I just think Kate looked so, so thin...she needs a pie! Perhaps the outfit was too 'slim cut'.

I think something about the cut or the detailing on today's outfit is emphasising her long torso and making her look out of proportion... Maybe a more cropped jacket would have worked better?

A shame because I usually like her military looks!

I think it looks far too thin, dark and austere - she looks like a baddy in a Roald Dahl story! I think when she is so lean herself, a touch of softness somewhere in the outfit would lighten the whole look and make her look less like a scary great auntie.

I rather like it and I'm envious of the beautiful slim figure and height.

Awful... probably one of my least favourite ever outfits on KM.

It looks like a costume or uniform of some kind not an outfit as such.

It feels like the jacket is either too short or too long - it's just a strange length 🤷‍♀️

No more engagements announced for Kate apart from the Ireland trip in March. Next week is half term so I doubt we'll see her, but I'll be very surprised if she isn't out and about again before the end of the month.
