Yes to the hair cut, I said earlier that I thought the hair was the best part of the outfit. A bit sleeker and less big and bouncy.

They have met Leo and Matt, Matt isn't wearing a tie. Leo's tie looks green/tealish.

Like the shoes but where are the buckles Meghan looks perfect in her outfit, simple, not fussy. Kate is just too Queenie a few decades too soon.

I don't think she looks that frumpy.

However, all green is not necessary and a bit naff and I say that as an Irishwoman.

Her hair looks like she was having a bad hair day so stuck the hat band on to try and make it look better.

I liked this photo. Kate looks like a giant and William sitting down is almost the same height as the President!

That’s not a great print on the green dress. Although on the whole it is of a type I associate with English dressing alright (anno 1984 but nevertheless). The literal greenness annoys me a little, these state visits are not sporting events.

Dear lord, that’s a bad dress. With such a lot going on:

• pleats
• buttons
• high neck
• puffy sleeves
• length

I actually think Kate would look quite good in that pink satin and long skirt of Anne's that Queen posted (sans shoulder pads, of course). I bet Anne still has it tucked away somewhere.
