The buttons on the coat are a bit much for me but perhaps that's in fashion right now.

To be fair to Kate, she isn't the first royal to don green on arriving in Ireland. HM did it in 2011 and Meghan in 2018.

Well that's about a close to a leprechaun as she could get. And holey moley those are pretty earrings but dear god the price!

I am going to write to her and offer to be her stylist for free. I have no experience but can do so much better than whatever blind loon is advising her.

I don't like the coat but I love the outfit underneath. If only I was less frog-shaped and richer!

Was about to say it looks like something Princess Anne would have worn a few decades ago, it seems I'm not the only one! She should keep the coat on! Makes me a bit fearful for tonight's outfit!

The coat buttons are very 80’s/90’s.

I think when Meghan visited in 2018 her green skirt and top looked like clothes whereas this verges on costume, IYKWIM? But perhaps that's the intention 🤷🏻‍♀️

Maybe Kate is taking re-wears to extremes and has had a rummage through Anne's wardrobe! 😁

Yikes! No, Kate... Why?! It looks like something that should have been burnt in the 1980s. Did she borrow it from Fergie?

All green everything? (My Irish side is slightly offended). Puffball sleeves? Lettuce print? Pleats? Front splits on the skirt? Too long coat, big buttons on the coat, the unnecessary button on the top (zoom in).

Her hair looks nice.

It's not as bad as the harlequin outfit once worn by the Queen. I don't know how to crop pictures so I'll have to leave the image as it is.

She looks even worse than her usual frumpy look today. She looks comical. The woman has no sense of style whatsoever. Apart from everything that is awful about the dress, the cost is far too long.

I wonder if the queen gets fed up with white evening dresses, and just went for it!

Like the green coat, but don't think she needed another one. Don't like the dress, especially the top part. I like her shoes and her hair looks good.

Wow... that's a dress and a half... It's awful! There is literally not one nice thing to say about it.

I like the coat though, but she hardly needed a new one. The shades of green on the bag and coat don't work at all though.
