Rania’s white dress reminds me (very slightly) of my wedding dress, which was a similar length and had a belted coat layer over the top. I like it for that reason!

Not sure about Dublin and Galway and places in between, but the weather in Cork is currently lovely. A coat dress would be ideal. Especially in a dark colour while meeting the presidential dogs.

There is a reporter at Dublin airport expecting them 'soon'...then they are visiting the president, wreath laying at the garden of remembrance, visiting Leo, and a big celebrity party this evening in the storehouse. I think tomorrow is Galway, and they are also going to Kildare and Meath - I think they leave on Thursday?

Head to toe in green, as predicted! Not sure if that's an old green coat or a new purchase.

The dress looks ok under a coat just small amounts showing but the picture in the link that's a firm no!

She's brought out the Anne Boleyn headband too!

I'm not keen on the dress at all but perhaps Kate ordered a bespoke version? The original has a thigh-high slit, so I'd be very surprised if she's kept that.

To be fair it does look very breezy - the headband is probably a good move to avoid an impromptu Cousin It impersonation

Why does she think she has to wear green? I say that as an Irishwoman.

The coat is a coat - fine. The dress looks awful. Her shoes are her usual not quite right. She looks grand but not sylish. I'm disappointed :) I hope her other outfits are a bit more stylish.

And William is wearing a green tie!

I have a green coat, just the one. I look like Aer Lingus cabin staff when I wear it! It's still a nice day in Cork.
