I love the shoes and the darker lipstick is good too. Can't really tell much about the outfit from small photos.

I remember liking those shoes when she wore them before, but I can't remember what she wore them with!!

Not the best look: straggly hair and a badly creased coat.

A better shot of Meghan, although the shoes look more brown than red in it. Perhaps that's down to the camera flash.

I think they are these shoes she wore in Belfast so a burnt orange maybe?

I quite like the outfit, I'd have preferred a ponytail in regards to the hair.

The shoes I like, the make up is on point and the hair I don't mind.

The idea of the outfit is fine but I don't like the multiple shades of brown I think it looks like they are all competing instead of complementing each other. No one part is wrong but all together it's not a look I like or thinks work.

On the plus side no belted coat dress and Harry is in navy not the grey suit again so not a bad start to the year!

Why is Meghan wearing a summer skirt with bare legs. I feel cold just looking at the pictures. Also disappointed to see that they are still full on with the handholding. Couldn’t they manage to walk from the car to shake people’s hands without grabbing each other. It looks like a security blanket thing.

Meghan really needs an Angela Kelly.. desperately.

It's easy to go for bare legs when the only time you spend outside is from car to building and back again. Plus Meghan spent years in Toronto so she may find London weather positively spring-like in comparison!

The bare legs don't bother me. Especially when the only tights that would have worked with those shoes are the sheer ones and they do naff all to keep you warm anyway

I don't mind the bare legs with that skirt material. Anything else would look odd. As much as I dislike brown this look is growing on me.

I never understand the tights with everything look. She has nice legs and is only walking from the car to a building. No tights needed.

I absolutely love Meghan's shoes. But that's my weakness for velvet coming through!

I'm not at all keen on the skirt. As pp have said, it's a skirt for the evening and in summer, not a cold January day. Looks all wrong to me.

I do love the shoes but would have worn boots on a day like today with that outfit.

Not much fashion wise but Lady Louise and Sophie had an event today promoting England Hockey. Looks like they had fun
