Let's not criticise them for moving abroad until they actually do!!

hopeishere · 07/01/2020 12:36

I agree SMT is a lovely account to follow.

CurlyWurlyTwirly · 07/01/2020 12:59

I don’t think M&H will permanently move abroad.
I do see them spending extended time out in Canada.
Commonwealth events could also be organised there.
Meghan is a patron of the National Theatre and could have a benefit for the US friends of the NT.

Given the current dynamic between the Cambridges and Sussexes, I think it could work well.
The Sussexes get some breathing space and the Cambridges get the full spotlight.

itswinetime · 07/01/2020 13:29

I agree @CurlyWurlyTwirly I see a future of periods of lots of activity for the Sussex's and then periods of extended holidays. At least until Archie is at school age when they will need to be more settled for practical reasons.

I don't think it's that big of and issue when the Cambridge's were first married they were very low public profile for a good few years and even now they have periods where we see very little of them.

If Harry and Meghan want to plan things so that they can have long periods off while still doing a similar level of engagements as the Cambridge's I don't see the problem 🤷🏻‍♀️ In fact to me it makes sense to make the most of this time before they are tied down to schools and before Charles takes the throne and there will be an expectation on William and Harry to step up more as children of the monarch.

Myimaginarycathasfleas · 07/01/2020 13:42

Not in the least offended bling!Smile Just didn't want to get jumped on for Meghan bashing in case people misread my post.

I should perhaps stick to frocks for a bit 😁

QueenOfTheAndals · 07/01/2020 13:57

Speaking of clothes, I bought the Meghan silk shirt from &Other Stories, but in orange as the forest green was on sale. It's a lovely shirt and nice quality but if you're at all large of bust then it's best avoided as it can gape if you move your arms!

Forest green wasn't on sale. And I suspect it never will be now that Meghan has worn it!

Zara looks lovely - I especially like her hair.

Gooseysgirl · 07/01/2020 14:29

Zara looks great! They are on their annual jaunt to Aus.

BlingLoving · 07/01/2020 14:33

@queen - this is why I haven't worn an actual shirt in 15 years! Gaping is a huge issue. I used to buy casual pseudo shirts from places like Joules but haven't recently. Should take a look again - they were usually long sleeve t-shirts with a collar and buttons to mid navel that weren't actually there to keep the shirt closed.

Myimaginarycathasfleas · 07/01/2020 14:34

I have bought myself some forest green jeans in the sale from M&S. Living the dream...

QueenOfTheAndals · 07/01/2020 14:53

@BlingLoving I think Bravissimo used to do a clothing range that had shirts specially designed for big busts. I'm not sure if they still do it though - think it was called Pepperberry?

From twitter it looks as if it's a black dress and heels with a camel coat. Can't see too much twitter.com/RE_DailyMail/status/1214562958132428800

It appears that the went to The Hubb on the way.

whitershadeofpale · 07/01/2020 15:14

Unless that's just staff and crowds have been kept back, it's very quiet for such a central location.

itswinetime · 07/01/2020 15:17

I'm not sure if the dress is black it might just be the lighting but it looks to have a touch of metallic about it maybe a bronze colour of course that could just be the light reflecting off a shiny fabric

itswinetime · 07/01/2020 15:18

Not really for an announcement that went out Yesterday on the first week back at work for everyone with no published time (that I saw).

whitershadeofpale · 07/01/2020 15:18

I see what you mean @itswinetime, possibly even chocolate

Whattheother2catsprefer · 07/01/2020 15:19

Dress definitely looks brown to me.

TobyeBella · 07/01/2020 15:19

Brown I think, silk skirt and jumper?

Royal style: Monochrome Megs is back in town!
itswinetime · 07/01/2020 15:20

Yes it's brown jumper and skirt combo

UrsulaPandress · 07/01/2020 15:21

I like it. But I have always been fond of brown.

hopeishere · 07/01/2020 15:25

That skirt is horrendous. So cheap looking. Also bare legs looks ridiculous.

itswinetime · 07/01/2020 15:26

I'd like to see a full length without the coat but by gut reaction is I'm not a fan
3 different shades of brown, in 3 different materials, it just looks a little wrong to my eyes. A nice cream jumper and I think the look could be a winner but like I said I may feel differently if I saw the whole look

HainaultViaNewburyPark · 07/01/2020 15:30

The sleeves of the jumper are an odd length. They don’t look to be rolled up, but finish an inch or so above her wrists.

whitershadeofpale · 07/01/2020 15:33

Having had a look at bigger images, I don't like the skirt at all. It looks cheap, the hemming is bad and it's an evening skirt for the summer if you had to wear it.
