Banivani - Did anyone (Lunde?) put up the adorable Christmas film of CPV and kids?

I posted the really cute one of them setting out the nativity and telling the Christmas story - but it must be several threads ago. We have been Royal watching at full speed over Christmas

Here it is again

TracyBeakerSoYeah · 07/01/2020 21:46

Banivani I often find myself thinking 'I just sound like my Mother'
Happens to us all occasionally.
Now look what you've got me saying Queen Grin

Any news on where Bea & Edo may get married?

QueenOfTheAndals · 07/01/2020 21:47

Even as a teenager you wouldn't have caught me going out without a coat in winter so it's nowt to do with age!

A quick review of the Swedish Royal year in 4½ minutes - with no Swedish language required

banivani · 07/01/2020 21:49

Yes that’s the one! I missed it at the time but saw it today. If we’re talking outfits - I wasn’t super keen on CPVs in that one (but true to form she’s wearing H&M). But the kids did really well and the whole family comes off great. That is very clever PR and even better - I do think they mean it. A message about Jesus also being a refugee, opening our hearts, Estelle being adorably precocious when realising why we give presents at Christmas, and little Oscar saying “parcelers” instead of parcels (my own translation thank you thank you semi-professional translator since 1975 dontchaknow).

banivani · 07/01/2020 21:53

It’s a long 4 minutes though @Lunde I couldn’t cope all the way through Crown Wink

QueenOfTheAndals · 07/01/2020 21:54

The Swedish royals have some good high street choices. Not sure I've seen any royal, Swedish or otherwise, embrace Cos though? I think Charlene could carry it off.

I think 90% of the comments on these threads are genuinely about the wearers clothes style etc. and not meant to be a personal criticism of the individual.

I'm not inclined to do the math, but I think a substantial amount of the comments just on this thread since the first post about their return have been personal criticism, e.g. their visit to Canada House , their hand holding, their "attention grabbing" "we're back circus", etc.

And those of you going on about the lack of tights "not looking right" or being "cheap," you remind me of stories of Victorian missionaries in foreign countries forcing their children to put on flannel undergarments in October, whether or not they were cold, because that's what respectable god-fearing people did in England.

peridito · 07/01/2020 22:00

I reckon Meghan wore that jumper because she has a lovebite on her neck .Just saying .

WineOrGinOrBoth · 07/01/2020 22:13

My mum is from The North & I went to university in The North & I remember not wearing coats in the depths of winter. I ended up with a chest infection- just saying. But then I’m a weakling southerner Crown Grin

QueenofDestruction · 07/01/2020 22:14

Megan's curly hair is lovely .I wish she would wear it like that

Becles · 07/01/2020 22:15

I want the fluffy jewellery and style critique back please. Please head over to AIBU for H&M slagging off threads.

I haven't been wearing tights either. I'm not in the least bit cold or cheap looking at work.

banivani · 07/01/2020 22:17

Charlene wouldn’t be seen dead on anything as cheap as Cos, Queen! But now that you mention it it is funny that CPV doesn’t branch out into the rest of the H&M group? It’s just Hennes.

FlamingHistory · 07/01/2020 22:26

Saw pictures on Instagram, thought Meghan looked fabulous, but come here to find out all negatives 😳 especially whether or not she wore tights... modern and fresh style is probably best to describe her style.

banivani · 07/01/2020 22:29

Oh speaking of jewellery - here’s a link to the designer who makes a lot of stuff for Princess Sofia. lwljewelry.com/

Some bling on that site let me tell you.

FlamingHistory · 07/01/2020 22:30

CPV wears &other stories

banivani · 07/01/2020 22:32

Does she? But not that often, right? 🤔 they should be her thing though.

QueenOfTheAndals · 07/01/2020 22:33

I think &OS is right up CPV's street with the high necked printed dresses!

👏🏼👏🏼 @SenecaFalls!

itswinetime · 07/01/2020 22:40

I agree with SenecaFalls well said!

banivani · 07/01/2020 22:46

Seneca, I agree. Well said. There’s more energy spent on the dissatisfaction with All The Things than on any fashion talk.

MrsGrindah · 07/01/2020 22:49

I agree some people come on here to dig but really think most are interested in the outfits. I just ignore the haters who clearly are making things up in their own little worlds.

The point I was making is that whilst I might call a jumper frumpy for example I’m not saying the person is frumpy.

Gooseysgirl · 07/01/2020 22:57

I think Meghan looked today, although not my favourite ever outfit - but I blinkin love the shoes!! I think these are the same shoes? This was from M&H's visit to Belfast awhile back.

AudacityOfHope · 07/01/2020 23:02

Agree with every word @senecafalls

I've been here since thread one but pearl clutching shite about it being inappropriate to be seen without hosiery might be the end of this beautiful relationship.

Thisenglishlife · 07/01/2020 23:07

Oh that Belfast outfit was top to toe perfection @Gooseysgirl A very polished look
