Lip filler, how much? Pic included

I've tired to take a 'pouty' picture

Basically, I'm wanting a bit more 'lip' on my upper lip. The bottom one seems fine to me, naturally, but it's just the top.

I know someone who's been recommended countless times and I've decided to go for it.

Could anyone guide me on how much I'd need for a very subtle look?

@Houseyhousey and other pps, it is perfectly possible to have natural looking lip fillers with no ridge (this isn't me btw).

Before anyone has a go, I haven't had any as my lips are full enough anyway.

My idiot daughter had lip fillers. There was nothing wrong with her lips at all but anyway... she had 1ml it cost £200 the doctor said if he put some into the top lip he'd have to put some into the bottom one too as naturally the bottom lip is bigger than the top and it would look unnatural otherwise. He uses a cannula rather than needles.

Don't your lips stretch out with the constant fillers though.

Your face is lovely, OP. I would avoid fillers.

TBH, I don’t think your friends who prefer the ‘very full look’ are truly in a neutral position to advise on aesthetics and certainly shouldn’t be telling you what your face needs to make it more appealing (cheeky fuckers).

Another this is not what you asked, but, those who I have seen had lip fillers look like they have had lip fillers. It doesn't look like natural full lips, it looks like fake lips.

So I assume they're vein and happy to put needles in their body unnecessarily.

You look absolutely fine. Don't waste your money to look vein and false.

This sounds bitchy, and I'd never say it to anyone's face, but my friends and I pity women getting false things done to themselves.

Mine are similar to OP's and are all my own.

And after years of feeling shit about having thick eyebrows before they finally became "in" its pretty disheartening to hear adult women taking the piss of others by asking "is that still a look?"

Don't do it! Your lips are perfect. Nothing looks worse than lip-filler, especially lip-filler in the top lip. It will distort the shape of your mouth and you'll end up looking like an alien (google photos of Meg Ryan, Lara Flynn Boyle, Donatella Versace if you don't believe me!). You have a beautiful mouth, don't wreck it!

Nope. Thats not how filler works.

Astra All natural, yes.

I use to get them threaded constantly and would just get the same awful result - Be it a Benefit Brow Bar or a brow lady. They just ended up too thin and didn't suit my face.

No point doing anything to them as I find their natural shape suits me. The only thing I do is wax the middle of my brows but not often as luckily hair doesn't seem to grow there

I think it's clear from your photos that your eyebrows and entire face are beautiful so don't take on board mean spirited comments from posters. Some people can't help but tear down others it seems!

I am envious of your brows. I have to fill mine in everyday & im too blonde for micro blading.

I also don't think you should have lip filler as your lips look perfect anyway.

I think you are beautiful as you are. If you really want lip fillers tho start with a tiny amount and see how you react to it.

I've yet to meet anyone with lips that are done that looks 'natural' no matter how many that may say so on this thread.

For all the people saying they've "never seen" lips that have been done that look good- how on earth would you know? Do people come up and introduce themselves like "Hi! I'm Tina, I get lip injections".

I guarantee you have already come into contact with people who have had their lips done and you have no idea. You only notice the bad jobs- which is why people think ALL lip jobs are bad. So, unless you quiz everyone you meet about what cosmetic procedures they've had done, there is absolutely no way you could possibly know what alterations people have had done to their face.

OP you are naturally beautiful and filler will ruin this. I think your friends and the eyebrow trolls are jealous of you.
