Lip filler, how much? Pic included

I've tired to take a 'pouty' picture Blush

Basically, I'm wanting a bit more 'lip' on my upper lip. The bottom one seems fine to me, naturally, but it's just the top.

I know someone who's been recommended countless times and I've decided to go for it.

Could anyone guide me on how much I'd need for a very subtle look?

Thanks so much!

You really are very beautiful. Don't spoil your lovely face by trying to even out your lips. Top and bottom lips don't need to have the same fullness. It's not a deformity.

Miseryisabutterfly · 22/12/2019 12:26

Your lips (and your eyebrows!) are perfect. Don’t change a thing.

slinkysaluki · 22/12/2019 13:14

You dont need it but id have 0.5 first then top up if you need it

Eleanorsummer · 22/12/2019 13:23

Your lips are perfect and top lip is meant to be smaller, but if you still want to go ahead then 0.5ml and make sure they don't put top much in the vermilion border as that is what gives a shelf look

Eleanorsummer · 22/12/2019 13:23

Too*

missfliss · 22/12/2019 13:36

You are beautiful - do what you like with your face - personally I think that it's totally unnecessary.

If you do go ahead - do your research and go somewhere well run.

Your brows are wonderful too.

AJTracey · 22/12/2019 14:06

Your brows are perfect as are ur lips. Id find better friends.

beautifulstranger101 · 22/12/2019 14:09

You are gorgeous! Its hard to say- some people's lips look huge with 1ml and others seem to absorb it quicker. I think anything between 0.5 and 1ml.
Make sure you see the person's work, get reviews etc
Tip: I always ice mine right after (ice packed wrapped in a tea towel) I take it in the car with me and use straight after for 10 mins. It REALLY makes a huge difference in reducing bruising and swelling

sagethyme · 22/12/2019 14:38

You won't be able to improve your beauty with cosmetic tampering, because you are beautiful. But you risk ruining what you have. Work on yourself esteem to be confident in your own skin.

TildaTurnip · 22/12/2019 14:48

I think what ‘looks good’ has really become distorted by the current fashions popularised by TOWIE and Love Island etc

Houseyhousey · 22/12/2019 14:50

I agree @TildaTurnip . It would be really interesting to see photos of some of the posters who claim to have natural looking fillers.

Junglebells2019 · 22/12/2019 14:52

Fucking hell, girl! You are beautiful. Leave your lips alone.

Keepmewarm · 22/12/2019 14:54

You need new friends!

You are stunning.

Newbie1981 · 22/12/2019 14:56

It saddens me that girls think this is necessary!

BitOfFun · 22/12/2019 14:56

You look gorgeous, like a movie star, as I'm sure you well know. Don't dick about with your lips.

firstimemamma · 22/12/2019 15:00

It saddens me that lovely young women want to do stuff like that to their faces.

You look great op, please don't do it!

DustyMaiden · 22/12/2019 15:05

Your top lip looks paler, you could make it look fuller with makeup, if you really want to.

You don’t need any improvement.

HGpg · 22/12/2019 15:06

0.5ml will make the difference. Only, and I mean only, go to the consultant clinic - they have clinics across the UK and are the best of the best. Worth the money and the wait. Do not go to anyone other than a doctor.

cokehoke · 22/12/2019 15:11

Totally, remember Leslie Ash saying she was too embarrassed to leave the house & how she had botched herself. Hers look "normal" compared to some these days

Delatron · 22/12/2019 15:17

I think it’s just sad that this has become an awful trend. Lip filler never looks good and they always look obvious.

Top lips are naturally supposed to be thinner than bottom lips. Yours look perfect, please don’t listen to your friends and mess with them.

Silvercatowner · 22/12/2019 15:18

And don’t panic on day two when you’re really swollen - totally normal.

Ergh. Why would you do that?

YouJustDoYou · 22/12/2019 15:21

Lol you have 3 times more lip already naturally than I do! Please don't feel you need to get fillers - not that it matters what I saying honestly you have such nice lips, don't making them look weird and unnatural, there's no need at all

beautifulstranger101 · 22/12/2019 15:34

Ergh. Why would you do that?

Same reason people put chemicals (hydrogen peroxide) on their hair to cover greys, or slather chemicals of different colours on their face (makeup) or wax their legs (being hairy is natural!), or pierce holes in their earlobes to hang dangly metal from.
Because they want to and they like the way it looks.

TheNinkiestNonk · 22/12/2019 15:37

Use a proper clinic and only have 0.5 to start with. Expect to pay £200-£250.

JustASmallTownCurl · 22/12/2019 15:38

Don't touch your eyebrows they are amazing!
