Suffragette Meghan is spot on! I quite like the hat.

Who is the chap standing to Meghan left on the balcony?

escapade1234 · 10/11/2019 12:18

Princess Anne’s husband. Tim Lawrence.

EnFinale · 10/11/2019 12:20

Ah, thanks!

TSSDNCOP · 10/11/2019 12:24

Meghan hat is fabulous. That girl rocks great headgear.

WineOrGinOrBoth · 10/11/2019 12:24

Not sure about either younger Duchesses outfits tbh. Queen looks great. Camilla not looking well but I like her outfit. Think Sophie looks good.

IfWishesWereFishes · 10/11/2019 12:34

Couldn't agree more @BigGreenOlives

I hate when the measure of a great outfit is 'did it make the woman look skinnier than she actually is' and I hate it even more on S&B threads where I'd like to think we might have more imagination about what style actually is. It isn't wearing clothes designed to make you disappear.

Meghan looks great, full of character and individuality. But she doesn't look like she hasn't eaten in a month so that makes the outfit a miss Angry

StCharlotte · 10/11/2019 12:34

Has anyone got a picture of Jo Swindon? (I was at an actual remembrance parade so missed the big guns).

TheNavigator · 10/11/2019 12:35

Every photo I see of MM, I am aghast that someone upthread said they didn't think she was especially beautiful. She looks so beautiful to me, it really must be in the eye of the beholder. I don't give a toot whether she is pregnant, but I do think she looks stunning.

StCharlotte · 10/11/2019 12:36

Swinson! (My phone is stuck in the West Country where I've been for the last week!)

IfWishesWereFishes · 10/11/2019 12:36

And while I'm moaning - can we put a stop to the bloody uterus watch!? It's undignified. I don't want to be part of threads where that takes place. I could read the DM comments for that.

TSSDNCOP · 10/11/2019 12:37

Well said Fishes.

bohemia14 · 10/11/2019 12:39

I think Meghan's hat is lovely. I'm not so keen on Kate's outfit but it's very appropriate for the occasion.

justasking111 · 10/11/2019 12:53

Poor MM is probably still feeding, I remember my boobs being out of kilter dress sense wise until I had finished feeding. Nothing fitted right.
I agree her hat frames her beautifully. As always her make up is spot on. Her hairdresser said she did her own make up on her wedding day. Joan Collins always did her own make up said she was better at it than a random make up artist.

frugalkitty · 10/11/2019 13:01

I like Kate's outfit apart from the weird tassel embellishment thing, and I like the silhouette of Meghan's outfit but the belt is wrong. I wonder if like many of us, her shape has changed (not weight, shape) and she feels that a belt gives her shape again. Sorry, I'm not sure if that's entirely clear, in my head it makes sense! It's just that she's short waisted and belts naturally sit too high and change the proportion (I have the opposite problem and generally avoid belts). HM, Camilla and Sophie all look good, and it's nice to see Tim Lawrence our and about!

frugalkitty · 10/11/2019 13:03

Oh, and I agree with PPs that Meghan is incredibly pretty and is so with or without make up.

MoreProseccoNow · 10/11/2019 13:03

Wow, Meghan does her own make-up? She's very talented. Although I'm sure being stunningly beautiful helps too Grin

QueenOfTheAndals · 10/11/2019 13:09

Agree with @TSSDNCOP, let's draw a line under the uterine speculations!

QueenOfTheAndals · 10/11/2019 13:10

That's what I've heard @MoreProseccoNow. I guess after nearly 20 years in showbiz she's picked up a trick or two from makeup artists. But I think that on big occasions like last night both she and Kate hire pros.

Meghan looks beautiful. I’d like to know the light pink lipstick she wears. Interesting that the Queen often wears bright lipstick (see second pic from last night) but Kate and Meghan never do. I’d love to see one of them in a red or berry lipstick!

VeniceBeach · 10/11/2019 13:17

I realise that the bright pink the Queen wears is more of an ‘older lady’ shade but I just point it out to show that it’s not a royal protocol thing not to wear bold lipstick!

Myimaginarycathasfleas · 10/11/2019 13:27

All the duchesses got it absolutely right today, I thought. Well groomed, elegant and understated. Perfect for the occasion.

And btw, kudos to all those women who placed their wreaths and then reversed down the cenotaph steps in heels.

ElspethFlashman · 10/11/2019 13:33

Meghan has worn Berry, it was lush.

That one today looks very like Fu$$y by Fenty or very similar. I could definitely see her wearing black-owned beauty.

QueenOfTheAndals · 10/11/2019 13:44

Berry or red lipstick is a good look on Meghan but I think she's only worn it once since she married - that time she went to the Albert Hall and wore that gorgeous blue sequinned Mouret. I've never seen Kate in a dark or bright shade of lipstick but her lips aren't very full so it may not suit her. She tends to keep her makeup emphasis on her eyes, though thank goodness she's dropped the heavy eyeliner she used to favour!

VeniceBeach · 10/11/2019 13:52

Ah yes Meghan did wear berry lips, thanks for reminding me! Gorgeous. And thanks for the Fenty recommendation Elspeth, I could be tempted.

MrsGrindah · 10/11/2019 13:58

BigGreenOlivesNobody on here is criticising Meghan for not having a flat tummy! My point was I’d had the thought she might be pregnant again but realised it was probably the cut of her clothes. Of course it doesn’t matter, but then none of the comments on a thread about clothes really matter.
