I have no objection to the purple dress, hey it fits!! 👍👍👍

But personally I would have accessorised it. To me it needs a skinny belt, some bracelets and definitely a necklace. But then she doesnt really like much in the way of jewellery so it's in character I guess.

Not keen in Victoria's evening dress. She has a fab figure and works out most days yet it's suprisingly unflattering in several photos I've seen.

I like Meghan’s dress tonight but I think a long necklace may have added some interest. The colour is great.

I was pretty sure she’s wearing a wig. I thought she might have some post-partum hair loss.

Why does it have to be a weave? It could be her own hair relaxed and styled. Or a bit clipped in or sponge bump or whatever.

Even Kate doesn't have that big, voluminous look when she hasn't had a fantastic blow dry and curl.

Max looks like she's channeling a superheroine. It's a bold look.

Meghan looks nice in that flowing shape, it's probably hiding all sorts, and very successfully. She's looking happy anyway.

I like Max's dress a lot .Great strong look and the pattern of zig zags reflects the shape of the tiara.

Oh and Kate if you are reading here - WHAT HAPPENED! You were doing soooooo well last week in Pakistan - beautiful jewel colours the blues, greens, turquoise - stunning embroidery and interesting shapes and what do we get today? a Poo-brown dress with black squiggles. It looked like a public health announcement for gastric parasites

So get whatever stylist helped to put together the Pakistan look to help you find lovely clothes in jewel and autumnal tones including sapphire blue, ruby red, amethyst purple, turquoise, citrine yellow, and emerald green. Added to some autumnal plums, forest greens, mustard yellow, Falu red or even teals. Start wearing these colours and stop with the wallpaper dresses and perhaps reduce the amount of pastels.

Come on you can do it!

At the Japanese ceremony, does anyone know how Royals are ordered in seniority? I noticed Charles looked like he was on the front row, but thought he'd be behind as he's not a monarch? Or does standing in for a monarch count??

The link about the Thai royal family was a bit disturbing. Does not seem like a good place to be a 'married in' woman. I guess any system where you have to prostrate yourself at your partner's feet says it all.

That tiara has looked great on Leti before at the State Visit Banquet with the Narrower red dress and in Spain with a high neck black dress that was also cut narrower. Maybe the wide skirt is knocking it all off balance and swamping her?

Can't fault Meghan at all tonight. Love her hair like this, and the purple dress looks gorgeous.

Yeah she stopped the woman from curtseying. They obviously know each other well so M had a bit of a "Nooo!" reaction. That said, it's always been said it's optional so who cares?

I did notice that the hair-curtain was really obscuring her vision as she was walking up to the stage. Made me quite nervous she was going to trip. She could barely see!

And yeah. It's fake. You only have to look at her hair length at that baseball thingy with Harry in June (black dress, black flats, you remember) and the off duty day at the cricket grounds with Kate in July. It had shot from armpit length to waist length in the course of 4 weeks.

But it's just an observation. You may be sure if I was in the RF there wouldn't be a single solitary original strand of hair left on my head. And like I said, it's a very expensive looking weave and worth every penny.

Looks likely that Meghan was stopping the curtsying from the woman in white because she wanted to hug her instead! That’s cute. She definitely entered as an actor rather than a Royal, but that’s ok she is an actor! She looked great in that dress and even with the weave she looked relaxed and real!

Max's makeup doesn't seem to have been picked up - that's some serious eyeliner she's wearing at the ball! If anyone can pull off that much bling, and lipstick, it's Max and our HM.

I am going against the grain. I love Max’s outfit. Her smile and warm personality makes anything completely wonderful.

I think the Sussexes should become like the Wessexes. Meghan should become the main personality (breadwinner IYSWIM) and Harry should stay home out of the spotlight and bring up the kids. He should be wheeled out for major events (so we go HARRY we love you, yayyy) and then disappear again. Edward deals with patronages that do not need the extra promotion ie DoE. Harry should take on an existing cause to champion behind the scenes.

I once read that Harry always puts a front on for the cameras and people. Clearly that front has gone. Meghan has proved that she is professional enough to turn up, smile, wave, put on a great show and be the star turn. I think she is a trooper and if Sophie can survive the Sheikstorm and topless photos then Meghan will survive too. But only as long as Harry stays home.
