@Lunde - change the colour to green and it's the American hospital-issue backless maternity gown I wore five times. I really want to know if that robe on Charlene is backless, held together by a few ties.

That flower hat is too much, even for Max! I like Mary's dress but not sure that colour is great on her.

Some footage of the enthronement. It seems curious having such an ancient ceremony in what looks like a modern and very dull office building! There's a banquet this evening so more fashion moments to come.

I guess court dress is a full length gown and some kind of head covering.

Leti missed the memo on crazy head gear so did a crazy dress
Mary and Mathilde are spitting feathers that they chose the same dress
But they can all have a good chat and bitch about having to attend a an event they can't say no to - wonder if they all get pissed later or is it all very prim and proper all night...

Showed it all to DH who said "what's wrong with Charlie? He doesn't look well" .

Does Leti's dress have chrysanthamums on it? I think they symbolise regeneration and longevity in Japanese culture so perhaps her dress is a way to represent the start of a new reign for the emperor.

The Bhutanese royals are also there. Queen Jetsun is so beautiful, and the king isn't too bad either! CPV looks great. She doesn't always do great daywear but excels at gowns.

As usual, the Japanese royal women look like characters from an E.M Forster adaptation.
