stokey I utterly live that cardi!!!

Do much to catch up on and I daren’t just mention anyone as I know I will forget someone. So big big hugs to you all.

Life at chez queen has some big changes going on but I think I’m ready for them. Excited and terrified at the same time. It’ll mean less money for clothes but weirdly I seem to have found my self esteem again and I suddenly don’t need so many clothes. As you all know the last two years have been the shittest of my life and I have spent a small fortune on clothes/make up to make myself feel better. But I do now have an utterly fabulous wardrobe and I’m genuinely finding it difficult to find anything I love as much as what I own.

Anyway sorry for the ridiculously long me me me speech!!!

DryWhiteagainW · 23/09/2019 20:49

QueenC not me me me at all. Exciting times ahead for you xx

Onwards and upwards Queen - you're amazing!

I found a new bag in the sales a couple of weeks ago so am very happy as it ticks all the boxes, style, size and colour - here - can't believe I forgot to post about it at the time! anyway, am loving it.

I found one pair of sunnies today - the cheaper, scratched lens pair naturally Hmm. Wish I could remember what I did with the other.

DryWhiteagainW · 23/09/2019 22:24

Lovely bag Marv.
The warehouse floral dress arrived, it’s fab on and looks just as I’d hoed with knee boots. May well wear it tomorrow.

Glad to hear your positivity Queen as you know I'm with you on this one!
Bought a few bits from Mint Velvet with their recent 15% off, only delivered today so need to try on:
spot top
puff sleeve top
leopard tie top
Will only keep one if the sheer tops if I like them, spotty is my favourite at the moment.

shopafrolic · 24/09/2019 10:38

£15 off £60 spend at Space NK - applied at checkout. Just ordered some Drunk Elephant Vit C - smells like bacon but seems to be very effective.
No time to look at links at the moment but sending love to all.

BlairWaldorfLovesShopping · 24/09/2019 10:56

Smells like bacon Grin haha Shop that's brilliant. How are you doing? Here's the link for the miracle leggings. Am sure they come in different colours as well.

QueenC you are fab, it makes me happy to read how satisfied you are with your wardrobe!

Dry glad the dress is good, Warehouse have lots of lovely things this season.

Exciting purchase alert, with this horrible weather, I am buying this coat today.

Blingysolightly · 24/09/2019 13:39

Blair that coat is a lot more sensible than the Coat that i was looking at this morning when i was looking at the crappy weather!Grin

I am wearing a rarity today, a dark grey trouser suit from Zara, it's about 15 years old and in mint condition. I am wearing a burgundy top from warehouse with it, and carrying the burgundy Coach bag (very similar to the one that Mrs M linked yesterday) while typing this, I can see my burgundy painted nails going tap tap tap. I have been swallowed by the matchy matchy monsterGrin

Can i say again that i love that No 7 stay perfect nail polish? Longest lasting nail polish that i have ever hard. 5 days is a new record for me!! A few nails started to chip a bit yesterday so I did a little touch up last night. These little things make me happy.Grin

Stokey · 24/09/2019 13:48

kittyhello · 24/09/2019 14:34

Ah Stokey I now know what you mean.

Shop how are you? Flowers

Dry I hope work has been keeping your mind busy active. It's incredibly how quickly it all goes. can't believe how much your bag gas increased by - crazy!

Queen seems as if you've re-found your old self, we're always here to support through any transition. I'll try and be around a lot more I promise.

Blingy and Lib I hope you're both feeling much better now.

Mrs. Marv good to hear you found one pair of sunnies at least

Dream still no sign of the baby yet?

Big hello to Marsha Viva and Blair

Hopefully I'll have more time to post as I've altered my hours at work leaving me with a bit more free time - yeay

Not pleased with Hush at the moment, they received my returns last week and haven't sent me an email confirming it yet Angry

On the upside I'm hoping these are Toast tees are keepers:

Sorry if I haven't commented on many purchases am having problems opening links.

DryWhiteagainW · 24/09/2019 19:18

Love Lady Hale Shop , cute. Like people who have a signature thing.

Warehouse floral dress with knee boots went down a treat at work today.

shopafrolic · 25/09/2019 18:43

Lady Hale was Stokey dry - I'm not that brainy!

libertyonhertravels · 27/09/2019 11:35

Dry great dress. Defo accessorise with a blingy spider Wink

*Marvelous" that's a great bag.

QueenC it's lovely to hear you sounding so excited and positive - wishing everything good for you.

Viva which top did you keep?

My purchase this week - a Fitbit Grin. Am now obsessed with my heartrate and the impact different people at work have on it... Some individuals are seriously bad for my health!!

libertyonhertravels · 27/09/2019 11:42

Oh and some of you may remember my previous obsessing about my eyes??? I've hooded eyelids and I have a lazy eye and when I'm tired the forehead muscles over my lazy eye start trying to keep it open any my eyebrow goes into a crazy raised position....

So today I'm joining a very long meeting by Skype. We take a break and I hear some of the group commenting on how on earth do I raise my eyebrow like that BlushBlushShockShock.

I'm off to investigate Botox and eyelid surgery and will be refusing Skype meetings for the foreseeable future.

BlairWaldorfLovesShopping · 27/09/2019 12:29

Oh no Lib should you have been able to hear them? Either way that's a bit rude! FYI I can raise both my eyebrows separately so they might just think you have an amazing skill Wink

I want to get a wool wrap coat (just looking at Jaeger ones so not £££ but still quite a lot) but would navy or camel be better? I'd love a camel coat, but not sure if a darker one would be more practical at this stage of my life. I do have a navy coat but it's a short peacoat. I'd only be wearing this new coat to get in the car and drive to nursery and then to work, plus the reverse, so it shouldn't have too much opportunity to get DS's grubby paws on it.

MarshaBradyo · 27/09/2019 12:32

Shock Lib rudies

Blair tricky as you’d like fab in both I’m sure but I’m inclined to think camel

DryWhiteagainW · 27/09/2019 12:54

Very rude Lib weren’t you tempted to say “I can heard you!!!!”?

OP posts:
kittyhello · 27/09/2019 19:30

That is very rude of them Lib I think you look lovely regardless Smile

Blair do you have a link to the wrap coat? I like the sound of it.

Blingysolightly · 27/09/2019 20:13

Shock Lib, the rude feckers!

BlairWaldorfLovesShopping · 27/09/2019 22:11

kitty it's this one but I think I need to try it on and see if it's long enough, I want to wear it over midi dresses without them sticking out! It does look lovely though.

libertyonhertravels · 27/09/2019 22:22

OMG that coat is gorgeous Blair I would go for camel but the navy looks lush too.

Blingy saying 'feckers' has made my day Grin

Thanks all for the outrage on my behalf (and Flowers to kitty for the lovely comment).

I did say 'Oi me and my eyebrow heard that' - which got a laugh and hopefully embarassed the offending parties.

MarshaBradyo · 27/09/2019 22:33

Ha good one Lib

That is lush Blair what a find. Both colours are beautiful.

Kitty meant to say that’s great about more free time

QueenCoral · 28/09/2019 10:37

blair, navy obviously Grin. Seriously though, both colours would work for you. Could you order both to try and then send one back?
lib how fucking rude. You are gorgeous so don’t let them make you feel down. Easier said than done though i know.
stokey those brooches are amazing. Just totally finish off a look. I know I’d feel a dick in one though.

VivaVegas · 28/09/2019 14:20

I kept the navy spotty top
Looks nice with dark indigo skinny jeans and heels.
Off tomorrow to warmer climes for a mixture of business and me time. Looking forward to it and hoping it will do me some good in boosting my confidence.
Seems weird to be packing summer clothes when it's very autumnal outside!
