I just read that Lib - need a gold belt now Grin

BlairWaldorfLovesShopping · 02/10/2019 10:53

Remembered I already have a gold belt. This one Blush

MarshaBradyo · 02/10/2019 11:57

Ha good one Blair

True about suede so annoying if they get ruined

Also Tod’s in leather or suede a few colours

MarshaBradyo · 02/10/2019 11:59

Also these look good but might be too high and still suede Tod’s

Will check that out Lib I’m always up for adding to a wardrobe and keeping loads of stuff

That whole outfit is perfect!

That said, I prefer the flat Chelsea boots. They are great. You've done suede boots for a winter before?

Blair I want a gold belt too Grin and snakeskin boots. I struggle with knee high high boots as I've chunky calves. But I still have those LKB ones we both bought a couple of years ago while slightly tipsy after a MU BlushGrin

DryWhiteagainW · 02/10/2019 22:25

Marsha remember tunagate?

Blingy HOnestly? You need a system for safe storage of your VERY VALUABLE jewellery you twit!

Haha Dry I do and the funny thing is it reminds me of you because we laughed over it all that time ago Grin

libertyonhertravels · 03/10/2019 08:19

Remember the days when we all used to own the same things - well I have just bought that Rains coat in Olive Grin

Am slightly nervous about potential duties/taxes.

libertyonhertravels · 03/10/2019 10:20

I'm off to bed. Currently trying to plan what I wear the night before but tonight I'm tired and can't decide. It's 17C tomorrow, few showers and dress code at work is casual on Friday but I have a few meetings so have to look reasonable. Tell me what you all wear to work on days like that so I wake up to some inspiration Smile

MarshaBradyo · 03/10/2019 10:39

Lib ankles bare, straight slim cigarette type pants and a cashmere sweater

MarshaBradyo · 03/10/2019 10:40

If I worked Grin but didn't want to leave you hanging

BlairWaldorfLovesShopping · 03/10/2019 14:00

Yay Lib! It'll really suit you. I'm so happy with mine, it feels very smart and much more "me" than my old raincoat which is from Regatta. I always forget that we are the same HoC style personality. Just need an opportunity to wear it with the LKB boots Wink

I don't have casual Fridays at work but Marsha's idea is good. I might do more casual bottoms like skinny trousers with a smart blouse. These are my go to work shoes at the moment when I'm not wearing black tights (which I've only just started doing, it's been so cold in the mornings lately). I got them a few years ago when the Chanel slingbacks were in, so they've been a really good buy.

libertyonhertravels · 04/10/2019 08:34

I need a pair of shoes like that Blair.

Marsha it was great to wake up to a suggestion! I had just decided to wear exactly that when I realised I hadn't yet worn the teal dress I bought a couple of weeks ago. So wore that instead with navy Uniqlo merino cardigan and black petty ankle boots.

MarshaBradyo · 04/10/2019 09:18

Perfect Lib

Dh is home with dd so I’m taking the opportunity to wear light grey Equipment cashmere, light straight leg denim and Celine navy trio plus Margiela pea coat.

Stokey · 04/10/2019 09:59

Hi Lib was going to suggest midi dress, possibly with trainers depending on how casual you wanted to be.
Like the Guardian article - feel like I could do with some more midi dresses & new boots but wasn't thinking knee-length tbh.

I just bought this green midi from Zara. I like it but is a wee bit tight over the boobs, can't size up as would be far too big around shoulders. Also bought some green pleated culottes which look like a skirt but super comfy & the same black Chelsea boots as DD (age 10) from Zara kids Blush!

BlairWaldorfLovesShopping · 04/10/2019 10:55

Sounds lovely Marsha, are you having a solo day out? I'm also wearing cashmere - this wrap jumper with this skirt and these really old knee boots. DS being at nursery means I can usually still get away with wearing silk and cashmere to work, yay!

MarshaBradyo · 04/10/2019 14:10

Solo day but at the hospital so more nerve-wracking than anything. At the breast clinic for fast track tests. Hopefully ok.

BlairWaldorfLovesShopping · 04/10/2019 15:52

Ah sorry my post looks really flippant now. Hope all is ok Flowers :)

DryWhiteagainW · 04/10/2019 20:17

Thinking of you Marsha. Thanks I went through the same thing a few years ago and it's bloody scary time.

Blair, you started a trend. I bought the Rains curve jacket in black last week after you linked in. It looks great on. I showed Lib a picture and she got in olive, which i know will look so fab on her. Wish it had arrived earlier this week when it was absolutely peeing it down in London on Tuesday!

I have had so many compliments and people asking me where i got a dress that i wore to a high profile event. I bought it in my early 20s for about £150.Grin Now that's proper shopping from my wardrobe, and the reason I find it hard to get rid of anything!!

Blingysolightly · 05/10/2019 08:33

Forget to add, Dry, they're great!

libertyonhertravels · 05/10/2019 09:31

Stokey I had the same problem with a Zara midi recently. So annoying. Those cullottes look great.

Great outfit Blair. I just need to keep copying you given we're the same style type and then I never need to think about what to wear again Wink

Marsha sending big hugs. Being a woman is shit sometimes.
