I could not look more different. Not planning to step out of the house today so I am wearing my pink oversized hoodie again but with iris & ink cashmere skinny pants. I am giving make up a rest today so nothing in. Feeling very pleased with myself as I finally roused myself to do my first workout of the year.

Well done on the exercise MrC - I take my creaky body back to Ashtanga tomorrow.
I have make up on today for the first time in about 10 days. It's a major improvement

I've been dithering for about 2 months over the super popular MV faux leather leggings - I'd wear them with oversized jumpers or hoodies or even an oversized shirt - after all our talk on straight jeans etc, I'm wondering if they'd look a bit dated? As you know, I love an oversized jumper!

Coats......I have loads!!! Ever since purchasing my camel wool/cashmere traditional (crombie?) style (straight fit, v neck with lapels, pref single breasted) Coat (thank you Shop) and discovering the style suits me, I’ve gone a bit mad really. I have berry (Jigsaw) red (Zara) and navy (COS) love them all and wear them loads.
Then I have a big puffy down coat, a functional and very waterproof coat for proper outdoors from Seasalt (thank you Liberty)
Oh a traditional trench coat too. And a few others not worth mentioning.

Best CPW item.
Probably something very boring like a work coat. A purchase from the last year would be my Red Zara coat. From last season, my MV sparkly halter neck had 4 outings over Christmas.
Handbags get great CPW because I don’t have many, some quite pricey, and as a result wear them a lot.

My straight leg jeans arrived and I tried them on - they are perfect for me 😊

Oh that’s good Apple Mine arrived and looked fairly awful but were mainly way too short on me so they’re going back. In the meantime I’m wearing my old CE Flings but they are very big on me and I’m not sure if they look cool as a result or I just look like swamped

It's v wide, but the way it falls is fab, neck just needs to drop a bit but again, I've kept it on so I always think that's a good sign.

Belated happy new year to you all. Apologies for the extended absence. I've had a busy few months with travels, dc and dps with all their ailments!
Have missed you all and hope you are all happy and well. Will try to do better keeping up and posting this year as I do enjoy chatting to you all on here.
Way too much to catch up on but will jump in with my ootd which was burgundy long coat, black slim jeans and petrol blue cashmere polo neck. Footwear is golden goose trainers which are also my best cpw item of the last year. I bought another pair recently as they are so comfortable and go with everything.
Trying to resist sale bargains that I don't need

MrC yoga was ace, rest of day..... not so much. Dog nearly died and then DM has an abscess or something so her whole face has swollen up and she is on heavy duty antibiotics and must go to A&E if things get worse.
Dog is now fine but I was terrified and it stirred up all sorts of weird grief stuff so I’m a bit of a mess.

I struggle a bit with straight legs esp in winter. They feel a bit flappy but I don't like anything too skinny as I like to wear my boots under jeans these days. I have some leather sock boots from Massimo Dutti that I have worn loads this A/W and I might upgrade to some By Far boots next winter, these or these

They look good Justa - can you report back? These Grensons need a slim leg rather than a skinny and the TopShop ones were no good.
I'd not heard of By Far before - I particularly like the 2nd pair.

Hi Justa happy new year and lovely to see you back posting. Those boots are great and and I can't decide if I like the 1st or 2nd pair.

My ootd is a really old khaki Me&Em top with raw edge JCrew jeans and white trainers. I popped to the shops earlier and wore my MaxMara red coat à la Dry and black crosd body Gerard Darel handbag which must be my best cpw as I practically use it daily along with my 20 year old MaxMara coat which is still lovely and soft today.

I'm really boring with jeans and usually buy them from Next as I can try them on. I hate buying jeans as they are always too long/too tight on the thighs/gape around the waist etc. I need to branch out but hate ordering them online. I also have around 20 pairs so I feel as if I don't need any more pairs even though I'd like to try some new styles.

Kitty*, I am the same, not a big jeans person and stick to the same 4/5 trust ones which are either j crew or Gap!

Today ootd is black me & em layering long tee underneath black Hawick cashmere sweater with black j crew toothpick jeans. When i went out earlier I wore my coat, R&B knee high boots and grey Scott&Scott cashmere beanie. I love that beanie.
