SOTD is diptyque eau de minthe - a tester that I'm trying for the first time. Loving it! I feel it would work throughout the year. Surprising for me, as it has a slightly masculine edge.

(Though, in true Pota style I did try the sol janeiro moisture magnet cream yesterday which basically smells of buttered popcorn and coconut and now want to buy the spray scent as I adore it - which I think basically makes me a 14 year old girl).

Holiday is managing to be lovely despite everything with my dad + a teething baby (now walking - is he now officially a toddler?!). But DS1 is loving the holiday and that's the most important thing.

SOTD MMM Fireplace. I ended up emailing my manager last night to say I wouldn’t be in today, but I actually do feel a bit brighter, so hopefully I have turned the corner!

floofy I do get the jab through work. This started as tonsillitis then progressed to a vile cold.

I am not looking very stylish today, but I do tend to post outfits on Instagram if anyone’s on there.

SOTD has been Clouds Illusion, one of the 4160 crowdfunders. I am in two minds. It starts off with that sickly powdery citrusy vibe (actually I think it might be the orris) that Sarah seems to like so much, and I really, really don't. But it does develop into something richer and warmer, with vanilla and sandalwood, which is rather pleasant, and I got the odd nice waft during the day. It just reminds me too much of Invisible Ben and Lemon Sherbet though, I think.

In the unlikely event that anyone has a bottle of CVC they're not using I'd be up for a swap

Hi Body That's Theo Fennell's Scent. Infamously skanky rose. (Sorry it was a skimpy decant - am eking this one out). Divides opinion (perhaps depending on how much sweaty cumin your nose picks up? ). What did you think?

SOTD yesterday was LADDM and then SOTE was Monyette Paris, which suddenly now (see, I blame the weather) smells all sorts of wrong on me.

Tbh fig neroli isn't that figgy (is that a word??) so I could probably wear that one.

Bella oud is ok. I can imagine a lot of folk like that one.

Really didnt like Eau de Hadrien or the floral one - eau de memo?

Gentle fluidity is ok - but I thought I'd like it more from the notes.

The robert grahams x 3 are all lovely. Very impressed. (Typically the smallest samples in there!)

The sizes are generous and the bottles and packaging very nice.

I must stop blind buying! 😬🤣

Perfume sells pretty well on eBay @Hoooo. At least you can use the subsequent revenue to buy more perfume 😁. I need to practice what I preach. As I'm well overdue a big eBay frenzy.
Sotd is the Perfume Garden by Marina Barcenilla. It's a gorgeous resinous floral and stands up really well to a windy rainy morning following a night of no sleep.

Body - thank you so much for the package - you've been very kind. Just love Marquis de Sade - wonderful to try as I have always been curious about this, as the notes are right up my street. It's got a softer/sweeter balsamic nature than I guessed and the name suggests.

And perfect timing as I have a tooth abscess and have been feeling sorry for myself - a great tonic.

I've had Scent on today, I found it quite challenging at first! I liked it after a couple of hours though and the dry down is gorgeous, very vintage feel to it, reminds me of Miss Dior. No wonder you're trying to eke it out, what a shame it's discontinued!

Yes, something to set the alarm clock for and apply well before leaving the house. It's outrageously sweaty early on on my skin/to my nose, but I like the latter stages very much. One of the more divisive LT/TS 5 stars.

Mind you, Maxed Out is also outrageously sweaty smelling on me. Combined with the cannabis and booze notes, I can't leave the house at all in that.

So come on everyone, tell us about all the things you love, but don't feel able to wear in public?

Anyone suggest anything similar to PR Olymipea buys little less sweet. I like the overall smell but find a little young. Anything in the same vein but a bit more complex and grown up?
