Floof - Nitro Noir goes through a phase of smelling a bit like frozen spinach scorched in a too hot pan on me.

I will be liberally doused in vintage Miss Dior tomorrow, I think. First day of a new term and I am not looking forward to it. Requires perfume armour.

I love carnation perfumes. DP bought me Lutens' Vitriol d'oeillet for my birthday, and I am a big fan of the Prada Oeillet as well. Soft spice is very comforting and appropriate for autumn, imo.

I'm completely freaked out about what's happening to the NHS. In London, GPs are being told not to refer patients to consultants.

Unofficially, I've noticed this happening for the past year. Not surprised that people are going to A&E "unnecessarily" as they are unable to access healthcare and specialist assessment/diagnosis otherwise!

Now, what perfume do I pick for the end times?!

Am on holiday atm. No SOTD, but yesterday’s was Ô de L’Orangerie by Lancôme. Only perfumes I have with me are Eau des Jardins and the Body Shop’s Moringa Eau de Toilette, which doesn’t really count (as in the Body Shop one).

I was around for the big sniff, yes!

The problem is I change names on MN like I change my perfume (although I’ll try to stick to this one for this thread!).

I have pretty mixed perfume tastes, but I tend towards floral, powdery, oriental, some gourmand, some fruity chypres.

But I’m a fickle bastard, in all honesty Grin.

I remember lots of you. I shared a love for Sun, Moon, Stars with the artist formerly known as mrsm...Wink.

SOTE is PP By the Fireplace in your honour, hooo... it's very comforting and more-ish!

You don't sound well at all yet, Judy! It's not nice when these things drag on. Sending you get better soon vibes.

Hi there BR540, I'm a newbie interloper :-)

I'm in Cristalle today but it's not the right choice for a freezing cold wet morning. The electrical supply keeps on going on and off - one of the delights of living up a hill in a very small town where this seems to happen every autumn.
Definitely chicken soup weather.
Floofy I did'nt know what Schmaltz was, So I've learnt something new 🙂. I reckon it's the fat that makes it taste nice. I also add a spoon of coconut oil to mine.

SOTD Heeley Cardinal. I didn’t go to work.

maud that’s one of my favourite outfits, although I tend to wear black Stan Smiths. Always red lipstick. I call it “assassin chic”.

Rochas Femme today. MrsMoggs put me onto this. I have a 100ml bottle, no box, bought from Ebay. The code on the bottle doesn’t work in any of the batch code checkers I have, so I don’t know how old it is, but from the bottle cap I think it may be a 2013 version. It’s rich, spicy and strong, with lots of cumin.

I do love a strong lipstick and there’s nothing to beat the luxurious click of an expensive Chanel or Dior lipstick. 💕

Good choice Calm - plum notes are just perfect at this time of year. (Femme helped me to finally get my head around the concept of fruit chypres).

SotD is Si Le Parfum. Nesquick for grown-ups. (Cultural reference that may only work for those of a certain age).

Like the 'left bank' chic on here!
@Judystilldreamsofhorses I hope you're finally feeling better today.
Private Collection for a cool morning, as it has enough oomph in chilly temperatures. Must dig out my Mary Greenwell Plum as I haven't worn it in ages.

Oooh I love "what are you wearing today" and "pictures of your lipstick" threads, it's lovely to have a combination of them here!

I'm afraid I am letting down the various embodiments of Perfumista chic (you all sound so stylish!) as currently in a mini pinafore dress with a stripy sleeved jumper underneath, un-chicly accessorised with a knotted hair wrap (it's raining here and the Mohican isn't allowed out in the rain for obvious reasons Grin) Lipstick is Perricone No Lipstick (I love this) and SOTD is Eau de Soir. Which I think is a little bit chic Smile

Mother the NHS rationing is terrifying, I have genuinely had amazing care from the NHS but have definitely already noticed the lower availability and "merging" of services in recent years, my neurologist is two bus and a train ride away now.

Judy how are you doing, you have been so under the weather. Do you get the flu jab?

Pots I hope things are as okay as they can be, we are all thinking of you.

Thank you for my parcel MrsMoggs! You were very kind to add some extras too! What is the one labelled Scent? Sotd is the Ella K Memoires de Daisen-en from the HN box, I think this will be a fb for me eventually, I just love it!

Hoo, did you see my post about a swap for the EPC perfume from the HN box? I've got Neon Jasmine if that's any good to you?
