Flora, have you discovered Fragrantica yet? There is also Basenotes. YouTube has lots of good perfume reviews. I have learned a little by guessing what notes are in a perfume and then checking on Fragrantica (usually wildly wrong at first). But to be honest, it’s much more fun to describe how it makes you feel, and the overall ambiance. You will find, on your perfume journey, that certain notes may come to the fore. But we’re all still learning. Not everyone reacts in the same way, either, so it’s all part of the enjoyment. I have no idea why I like Covet so much (it’s a real cheapie), but I am very, very comfortable with it. My testers are also jumbled in boxes!

I keep my samples and testers in an old fashioned cantilever style sewing box. It folds out into 4 separate compartments with room for hundreds of samples and there’s a drawer on the bottom that’s big enough for bottles. I do buy mostly 9 and 15mls though; I’m a bit fickle and get bored with bigger bottles 😝

Yes, it does sound great. Last year was 31 2.5 mls I think? That put me off it a bit. Anything smaller than 9mls is a bit of a faff tbh.
Not sure she'll bd doing the 3for2 again this xmas. I ended up getting a £75 bottle for free!

I think she moght be stopping the 9mls size soon....
15mls will be the smallest proper size.

Greetings! I was wondering whether any of you could advise me on finding a perfume or EDT that resembles Nivea Men replenishing post-shave balm , but is longer lasting (sillage ?)

I have just used the last of the balm and am looking to upgrade.
