hoooo step away from the bad thing. (Or actually, DTBT so we can all live vicariously through you?) I have been v spendy in the last week or so, but clothes, not perfume. Have taken advantage of discount codes for both Whistles and Jigsaw, plus was in Cos yesterday (was away with work, we don’t have one here) and bought a jumper.

I'm feeling somewhat sub-par too. Work is just exhausting, I feel as if I'm chasing my tail constantly and clearing up other people's fuck-ups every day. A 12-hour work day wouldn't be enough. I've actually called in sick today as felt utterly wiped out last night and then barely slept when I did get to bed but, guess what? Spent all day working anyway

Anywaaaaayyyy...have put on a bit of Bodhi Language which I've not worn for ages. Sweet sandalwood, very nice, linear though.

I really want to DABT but even though it's payday, I already feel skint! How can this be???

Re: Motherland - I am rationing myself to weekly episodes rather than watching on catch-up as I know I will just watch the whole lot in one go. It is very funny.

Hi, I’m feeling a bit perfume - jaundiced at the moment. I’m not inspired by many of the new releases and even a trawl through Bloom doesn’t make me want to try any of them. The sets by the perfume society feel a bit paint by numbers ( substitute perfume) and surely it’s been done before?
Perfume this week has been Rosee de nuit and Ffern Summer. When I have work meetings I feel I can’t wear anything too heavy so I’ve been spraying lightly. I’m finding Ffern Autumn quite difficult and masculine to wear as the Oud predominates on me. It does smell very smoky, leafy and autumnal and sprayed lightly it’s enjoyable. But mixed with the Ffern summer it’s even better.
@MrsMoggs I discovered Azurée isn’t really for me. Bitter greens are my thing but leather is not. So I was very glad I tried the sample first. In fact it really reminded me of a Dusita sample I’ve tried - le Silage Blanc.
💐 to all finding it difficult at the moment. I get SAD and have just purchased a Sunrise alarm clock as it’s supposed to help. Well, the bloody thing tweeted away uselessly and didn’t wake me up. Then I couldn’t turn it off. So it’s going back. I’ve bought a special light now so will see whether it works next.

I'm wearing 4160 amber woods today. It's SO like amberama I can't tell the difference tbh that I'm a bit annoyed I bought it. If I'd paid full price I'd be quite cross, I think...

I haven't gone for the PS experimental perfume club set. As you say, teta, the sets seem a bit...meh. And not cheap!

mood is def effected by season. weather and life! my HRT isn't really helping anymore and feel really stuck.

i'm going to go a bit budget so will get some Avon (will go for something musky) and some pp dupes. want something warm and amber like.
my tasts are def changing. used to love leathery stuff but now want old lady hairspray or amber. Need to try SJP Lovely as well.
maybe i am just getting old ....
