Umm - will change to silver but not go back to non highlight

I've just bought a decant of L'artisan Parfumeur Traversee du Bosphore from ebay in a bid to perk myself up. It is so luscious and exotic that I'm sure it will do the trick

No SOTD yet today. DP and I went out for a very damp and chilly walk this morning and I've spent the rest of the afternoon lazing on the sofa. I feel a bit uninspired perfume-wise as well atm - I think maybe I need to have a clear out and maybe put some stuff on ebay.

Right, no more moping, I'm going to go and put something fabulous on!

Lots of folks in a bit of a rut here...a little the same myself. I did have a nice visit to POP - Pulse of Perfumery, in Knutsford today. Lovely little independent perfumery with very friendly, knowledgeable owners. Have come away with samples of Initio Blessed Baraka, which is gorgeous (and about 200 quid) and Lubin Akkad, which on first sniff is a contender in my search for my favourite Amber.

This evening I'm in PP By the Fireplace, sitting by the fireplace, as our boiler isn't working. Grrr!

Hoooo not seen much about Indoors, what's it like please? Really need to rein it in but perfume FOMO is a thing...

It's so fresh and crisp but comforting and soft at the same time....although I have to say I also wore it pretty much all last summer in the heat too! (Maybe I'm weird though...)
It's one of the few perfumes I wear that gets comments...and no longer available :(

Oh that niche perfume society set does look good Hooo . May have to suggest as a christmas gift. I have a birthday present of Penhaligon’s Much Ado About the Duke coming next week (rose turkish delight in a ancient wooden casket, very Lion Witch and Wardrobe). I have had to sadly accept I have to move on from my favourite scent in the world, Comme des garcons x Monocle’s Sugi given it lasts all of 5 minutes

I got 9mls of the fig neroli in the HN box which- despite me moaning at the time - is rather nice.

I’ve had a productive afternoon. It was sunny so I decided to eBay and photograph some perfumes. So 14 listings later I now have two bids. I also had to test them all to see if they were ok. Ran out of skin to spray and smelt ..........interesting .I now have molecule4 on from the niche box and a mini spray of Anubis - It’s amazing 😍. But doesn’t go with the molecule 4. I’ve also sorted out my perfumes into Wintry ones and have put the summer ones away.In the process revisiting old loves and finding out how many clean white musky perfumes I have ( a lot). Rosy perfumes - a lot and Orange Blossom loads. I’m currently really into Frankincense and myrrh so an increasing number of those too..

That is a productive day teta - hope you get some decent bids!

Went out for lunch today with old uni friends, then we had a quick sprint around Liberty. I almost bought a bottle of La Fille de Berlin... but was very good and left with nothing

No SOTD today!!! Crazy times. I want to wear Captured by Candlelight literally every day but I'm scared of running out before the cold weather is over
