Love to all the poorly people, those under the weather or under the cosh, those worrying about family and those worrying about other things (does this cover you all?)

SOTD was the totally inappropriate Freeway. It lasts very nicely and so it's still bothering me slightly as I really wanted something more autumnal.

I don't like the sound of the new 4160 crowdfunder, unfortunately - I just know I'll hate the fruity note. Realised while looking at the website that I haven't bought anything there since the weekly deals stopped, as it gave me a bit of a push to press buy! I do really like Eau My Soul and Captured By Candlelight but I've got enough of the 9ml left to last me for the cold season...

Hoooo · 06/10/2019 21:35

4160 crowdfunder MMOTC sounds lovely but I really shouldn't!

I don't do too well with blind buys, sadly plus I do need to get through some of my samples :)

YesQueen · 06/10/2019 21:57

SOTD eldo eau de protection

MrsMoggs · 06/10/2019 22:54

Sorry to still be banging on about Saville Road, but if anyone likes the lovely but now discontinued Feu Follet, they should seek this out (shares ginger and cardamom, but not the coriander).

Judystilldreamsofhorses · 07/10/2019 10:55

SOTD FM POAL. It is an absolutely FOUL day here, and I am wearing the wrong coat, but at least I smell nice!

My sis is after a new perfume for autumn/ winter. Her words "Nothing spicy or oriental or overly floral. I’m thinking soft warm, amber and cashmere... any ideas? Oh and not too expensive"

Any recommendations perfumistas? I know we have some amber lovers here...

(And include any £££ ones as I can add them to my Christmas ideas for her!)

teta · 07/10/2019 19:54

It's been a horrible day here too.
Sotd is Pure Distance White which smells suitably warm and spicy .

Hoooo · 07/10/2019 21:20

Ooooh!
Ooooh!

Ok. So....
Cheap - next cashmere £12! Or sjp lovely - £18 on amazon.
Bit more spendy - Narciso rodriguez for her.
Treat time - prada amber
HTH!

Hoooo · 08/10/2019 19:08

I almost bought michael Kors midnight shimmer at t k maxx but I don't have a great strike rate with blind buys :(

teta · 08/10/2019 19:48

🎉🎂Hoooo.
I hope you're having a wonderful day?
Sotd was Hiram Green Dilettante this morning. Then I added two sprays of Ffern Summer.

Happy birthday for yesterday, hooo! Hope you had a great day. Midnight Shimmer is so hard to dislike, I think it would be a safe blind buy (I bought it a while ago without trying it and it's very easy to wear).

teta, layering... that's so next level! I am still scared of the concept Grin

My little one is ill and the house is a disaster zone after a weekend in (we were fighting off colds, the rest of us are ok but DD2 got worse and has a fever).

SOTD was Al Haramain Tanasuk, which is gorgeous and very sweet in a nectar-like way. I adore it. Really enjoying the Arabic fragrances I've been trying lately and they are such great value for money.

teta · 09/10/2019 11:13

Sotd is L Occitane Lavender layered over Une Rose. For some reason I woke up craving Rose and Lavender . Maybe it was due to the lack of sleep from 3.30 onwards and i'm hankering after my comfort scents.
Mother I hope your little one gets better soon.

Hoooo · 09/10/2019 16:13

I'm trying to be strong:)
I bought a new winter coat, some estee lauder modern muse nuit and some black trousers...
DH and kids got me a new tablet amd some chocolate :)
Oh! I also bought a candle holder and some bath bombs :)
Did you guys know that the perfume shop sell 10mls of ypur chosen scent in an atomizer for £10!!!! Omg. This won't be good for my bank balance! (Not chanel or dior though)
My 4160 samples arrived...like white queen lot. And OTCS snd NY55. Not sure about BVC...

KaliforniaDreamz · 09/10/2019 20:13
