I meant to say earlier that I really like the outfits both the Spanish princesses were wearing - as shared originally on the blog @QueenOfTheAndals linked to. They're spot-on lengths, pretty colours, and airy. I'd like to dress my DD in similar clothes.

The video of Charlotte sticking her tongue out was hilarious. Kate pissed herself laughing as did Carole.

Those pictures of W&K, the other competitors, and family really are great advertisements for the RF and their charitable endeavours. "Such fun" springs to mind (sorry Miranda). Thanks for sharing the pictures, @IWouldBeSuperb and @Spudlet. Their PR is so good at the moment. I liked the earlier discussion of why W&K have bedded in so well, while H&M will inevitably take longer to feel normal. Everything they do for a while will seem new, despite most activities following the well-worn RF path.

@Wetdogloveshubert Infanta Sofia is fast-becoming one of my style icons - that's the second white dress I've seen on her and thought "wonder if there's an adult version?"!

Agree @StCharlotte. Besides which, if Kate was knocked up then I think taking part in a boat race is the last thing she'd do!

@FaithHowellsYellowCoat I think they're LK Bennett. She wore them before with a striped top which looked much better, if nautical.

@QueenOfTheAndals, likewise, I would wear the white dress - the frills would be very flattering!

No way would/could she have skippered a boat pregnant. I think she’s ‘done’ there’s been a huge shift in the work she’s taken and the perception of her since she finished maternity leave with ‘louis’. It’s like she breathed out and thought ‘I’m a competent adult, a working mother, let’s crack on with on confidence’.

In a couple of those photos of Charlotte there is a look of Diana as a child.

I might be alone but I really dislike the tongue poking-out thing. I find it really bratty. I'd be pretty unimpressed if one of my kids did that at an important function.

Grumpy pants on today, clearly ... speaking of which, those black pants were awful.

I quite liked the top, although I agree it was maybe a bit short for Kate. Colours suited her though. It definitely looked nicer in the model shot, with the white pants.

@Daisypie, I agree! But then, she is very like William and he is so like his mum.

Love seeing the photos from the regatta today. I don't like the peplum on the top although I do like the colours, it would have looked so much better as just a longline top tucked into the trousers.

And yes, Kate just looked properly fit and healthy in her sailing kit - they looked happy and relaxed as a family together and great to see George and Charlotte included.

I wanted Kate to win but I think her loosing was probably for the best she comes across very well in defeat! Whatever William did he would have been accused of being surly or upset or something! This way it remains a positive story! Loved seeing the children they looked like that had a great day! Especially liked Charlotte's cheeky face I wonder who it was they saw!

There was a crowd outside the window and Kate told her to wave. Instead of waving she stuck her tongue out quite forcefully. Kate reacted really shocked then pissed herself laughing as did her mum when she then told her what happened. It's s lovely clip. It was on our local news so should be on you tube somewhere.

Kate looked fabulous in defeat- great positive story. Love Charlotte sticking out her tongue! Who hasn’t been embarrassed by their at an important event? Great reaction by Kate as well - laughing it off rather than being cross.

Kate will have a personal dietician and a personal trainer to make her health and fitness the absolute best it can be. She also has an iron force will and stunning self-discipline. I bet that she hasn’t eaten a cornflake since 2001.

Not a criticism, just admiration.

I love seeing Katherine and William at these events, it shows such a happy and healthily competitive side to their relationship. William looks good with a bit of a tan too.

They look really happy together, I don’t think you could fake playfulness, too hard.
