I dont think her legs are that short- her knees to her feet are almost the same length as Williams.
I dont like the peplum on the top with the trousers.

That top has a kind of 1970s vibe and not in a good way. I love the beach wave hair style though.

As an ex-very very amateur sailor I can tell you that getting your boat over the line at the right time is one of the KEY skills of sailing. It's not like you start the race from a dead stop. So you have to approach the start line, with the goal being that as the race starts, you go over. Too cautious and you land up starting far behind your competitors. But too ambitious and, like Kate, you land up going over the line too soon and get disqualified.

Can’t put my finger on why she looks so odd. I think it’s the cropped wide legs trousers.

And I know we’re not supposed to mention it, but her waist is insanely narrow. I can’t stop looking at it.

KM could have made the outfit work without the peplum or without the buttons on the trews. Love the sneakers. I like the shorts from the other photos.

I think her hair is too light/reddish.

I think her legs are slightly on the short side. Look at KM vs the other woman in the photo, standing to W's left. She's a little shorter than KM but her legs appear to be as long if not a little longer.

Lovely to see George and Charlotte having fun with the Middletons. They are clearly close.

I really like the top (but i like the 70s aesthetic so that’s definitely not a problem for me). I think she went short because she’s aware that her torso is long, but it really would have been much better hitting lower down.

I think the top is too short but she probably chose it so that it wouldn’t hide the buttons. Would a tucked in fitted plain white Tee have been better?

I like Kate's outfit today - she looks stylish, relaxed and happy. That said, I preferred the top with white trousers as per the advert.

I would quite happily chop off both my arms for her legs though. They are so firm!! Not a hint of flab anywhere.

Going back to talk of Leti and her espadrilles from the other day. I am back home in France now after a month back in the UK. As I wandered around a nice upmarket shopping centre today, I noticed lots of women all wearing mid-height espadrilles but not a tie lace to be seen. All were buckled; they looked really comfortable but also chic.

There's definitely no Kate haters on this thread Annasgirl. I can't say I recall any real Kate criticism on the whole of mumsnet either.

And - I’ve been known to clutch my pearls at Kate’s thinness in the past but dressed in her sailing outfit today she looked fit and strong (particularly her amazing legs). Healthy Kate is gorgeous.
