Jaime (I know who you are now!) MiniFloof is doing extremely well thank you. Miles better. Ironically I am now waiting to see if I need an op (broken arm which is why I couldn't post for a while). I did mean to post on thread to say it was hilarious watching DH trying to spray perfume on me as I was one armed (how much? Where? This much? Another spray?)

SOTD yesterday was Neroli Portofino and it was glorious as a couple of my DCs and I went shopping and ended up sitting in the beautiful sunshine while they drank (£££!) cocktails and we had such a fabulous time. It felt almost Mediterranean as we sat on a roof terrace overlooking a leafy square with a church, so NP was perfect. I daren't look at my bank balance this morning!

In love Again is just beautiful and was my favourite summer perfume , but then hormones changed how it smelt on me rather upsettingly. The Neroli Portofino sounds the perfect choice for a sunny day.

I was in Yves Rocher today, sniffing their Collection Secrets d’Essences and treated myself to a bottle of Neroli, as it was in the sale for £23. I love it - it is a very clean smell, and lasts for ages. Accord Chic, Voile d’Ambre, Rose Oud and Vanille Noire also reduced.

SOTD FM POAL. It has been cold and pissing it down all day today, so it felt fitting for lunch with my lovely friend, then reading on the couch. My cat has taken to lying on the spare bed (it has a faux fur throw over the bottom) and I miss having my little friend here with me. DP often sits in the spare room to watch sport, so it feels like she’s a right wee turncoat. I’m her primary carer!

buffy, thank you for the Rome 1963 offer, but I have two bottles, one that I bought direct from 4160 and the other as a back-up from EBay, so I’m well-stocked! I noticed that they are different batches, 2 and 3, so tested them yesterday to see if they were different. They smelled exactly the same to me. I did think, however, that it’s nicer in colder weather. I wonder if it would be worth putting yours away until autumn to let it settle and then try again? Will get the New York off to you today, hopefully.

Today I’m wearing Imaginary Authors “O, Unknown”. Smokey tea and parchment. DH said it smelled mouldy 😨. I love it!

I sneaked (?snuck ?snicked) off for an extra-long lunch break today and, somehow or other, found myself in Liberty. Literally no idea how that happened

Anyway I'm now drenched in Sisley Soir d'Orient which is definitely going on the birthday list as I see allbeauty have it on sale. I also treated myself (ha!) to 30ml of Diptyque Ombre dans L'eau in one of their dinky little special-edition coloured bottles cos I'm a sucker like that. Came out with a sample of Eau des Sens, some Tam Dao shower gel and a wee bottle of facial oil as freebies too. Love a freebie

I had a migraine last night and one has been trying it on today as well. I never connected it to the weather but it probably is that! I thought it was just stress!

Barometric pressure can affect your health, headaches, migraines & joint pains.
In this type of heavy close weather my right knee starts to lock (feels like a bag of water is stuck in it) & then I know a thunderstorm is on its way.
