Now that the Orange One has gone, it's almost time for a visit from the Oranje One! Yes, Queen Max will be attending next Monday's Garter ceremony. It'll be a triplicate fashion face-off between her, Letizia and Kate - who will emerge victorious?

I was just looking at pictures of the last time she wore that dress and thinking how good it looked! Lots more stylish than she usually goes for. Definitely needed heeled sandals instead of those shoes though.

She's worn the dress before, a few years ago I believe, with peachy peep toe heels.

I think she should dye her hair darker again. The lighter colour looks duller in the daylight and is a tiny bit draining in the daytime. Dark hair looks glossier.

I think she looks fabulous.

Kate’s hair is a source of wonder to me, I know a lot of people think it’s her natural hair and is just a good blow dry that creates that amount of volume, but I don’t buy it, and I don’t think it’s even all extensions, as an extension wearer myself the sheer amount to create that volume would cause so much stress on her natural hair it really could cause problems, I want to know how she does it!

Its wet but not that cold in London, and wherever she is will be nice and warm. I'm sure she can cope with being rained on for the few minutes she's outside!

Nude wouldn't have gone. Not black. Something minimal in white? ... What is the darker colour in the stripe on that dress? Or are they transparent stripes?

I like Kate’s dress tonight but not sure the hair down works with it.

I reckon a fair bit is blow dry. I’ve very thin hair, but give me a professional blowdry & I look dead swishy.

Lol Pinky Kate channelling her inner Dollie! There are some amazing hair enhancer systems that put extensions in the shade so maybe she has that or similar, really don’t think it’s down to a blow dry, a blow dry can work wonders but not a miracle of biblical proportions.

Re: pouffing up hair; the 'Halo' is pretty good. A really decent one put in well is indistinguishable from real hair. And completely temporary and non damaging.
