Unusual but lovely dress for October registry wedding

I'm looking for ideas of what to wear for my wedding in October. We are going to be doing registry office then pub/restaurant for the evening after so nothing crazy formal. Will be around 30 people present.

I'm not fussed about wearing white, am actually less inclined to as am very pale so can wash me out a bit! I have a lot of tattoos so needs to work with that. The problem is that people keep suggesting 50s style/Lindy Bop/rockabilly type dresses to me because of this and actually I just do not like that style at all!

I'm a size 8-10, early thirties, 5 foot 6, dark hair.

Any idea would be much appreciated!

Do you need a bigger size? You look pretty knockout! What a great dress.

It is fabulous. Fits neatly from waist downwards but the top half is a bit tight, there's some wrinkling round the side (I made sure to post a flattering angle! )

OP - that Vampire dress is just divine!

I'm 5 foot 6, size 12 ish (lost weight recently so not 100% on what size I reliably am, some of my clothes are a 10). 62 kg. I have quite big back muscles though, which I think is the issue with this dress. It definitely needs heels at my height.

Also, I bought size large in the Vian dress, forgot to include that.

So have thrown a curve ball and have gone for this dress. Am now trying to figure out what colour hair accessory/nails/bag etc. Any ideas?!

You look fantastic. Is it an orangey red? The black boots go very well so black accessories would work although you could go for a more bridal diamonte hair piece.

Surprisingly really like the black polka pillbox, would not have thought of that!

Was planning to have hair up and have some kind of clip/flowery thing.

Def not up for a fascinator though.

Do we think stick to black on accessories or throw in a colour like pink?

And yes is a more tomatoey orangey red.

I was originally thinking gold accessories.

Ha, I was going to suggest Vampire’s Wife too. Have a look at Ganni, maybe, or Rixo? At the (relatively) cheaper end there is an amazing Whistles keopard print midi dress just now which I wish I had a fancy event for.
