Ooooh, I've just read the MN "swears by" email, and ella is quoted twice. For birkenstocks and f&b paint Grin (not together...) You have obviously captured the zeitgeist...

Also, forgot to ask if y'all can help with a very specific coat requirement... I have "proper" raincoats, but I'm after a shortish one with a hood, that doesn't look like a hiking coat (and doesn't have to be properly waterproof, just showerproof). My long ones don't really work with dresses/skirts... and at the moment, if there's a threat of rain, or it's "spitting" I end up wearing them, and feeling totally stupid when it actually doesn't rain. My requirements are hood, no rustling, and easy enough to bung in a bag and pretend I never thought it was going to rain in the first place....

The one I really want is this one but I can't justify the ££££. I have their mac and it is a thing of beauty... but really too long for summery stuff, and grey (also, not sure what colour I'd get... poss the red) . I have ordered this in the pink to see, but not sure the colour will be me, and I'm not keen on the other colours.

Thanks ella and len!

dontcallmelen · 02/06/2019 21:19

Not boden have 25% off with J4H5

dontcallmelen · 02/06/2019 21:20

👍🏼 The pink jacket.

miffy2 · 02/06/2019 21:36

never it is nothing to be embarrassed about - anyone without a thigh gap is going to experience it :)

I have tried the talcum powder (OK, but I need to reapply which means carrying it around with me!), deodorant sticks (didn't work) and I think preparation H although i can't remember.

I ended up getting best results with these knickers from M&S. They are not heavy or annoying, the legs don't roll up, they keep everything looking smooth too. If I take them on hols they can be washed and hung up to dry overnight too.

Thanks!! Yes, I used a different 25% code Grin and also a £10 voucher that had theoretically expired a fortnight ago, but still worked. Thought I'd give it a go as it was sitting accusingly on my desk... Which is a useful thing to know.

miffy2 · 02/06/2019 21:40

As we nudge closer to midnight and the end of the code, I think I will pass on buying anything from Hush right now. I want the Moritz jeans but I also own about 20 pairs of jeans already. I wanted the Porto top in white but it is not in stock now.

I think I will treat myself to the burgundy kimono as modelled so fabulously by sheep as it would be a very versatile piece. The only problem is I want to throw in all the £8 scarves too!

(Pain is definitely waning, although very slowly. I would love to sleep tonight as I am awake since 3am but if I don't I wont stress about it as tomorrow is a BH here)

miffy2 · 02/06/2019 21:43

That is a gorgeous Boden jacket but what drugs are they on pricing it at £90? I mean I don't think anyone ever pays full price for Boden but still...bonkers. As is Hush - I was scrolling through the site as it has been a while since I looked at everything properly. The prices are just mad, Ted.

neveradullmoment99 · 02/06/2019 21:45

Thanks @Miffy. Going to browse and order!

Ellapaella · 02/06/2019 21:52

@NotAnActualSheep how do I find the swears by thing on the app?

NotAnActualSheep · 02/06/2019 22:17

Oh, glad the pain is a bit better miffy... what a nightmare. Yy, the scarves are lovely, and such a bargain! I only got the kimono having seen it modelled by others here Grin I think they've done well off this thread!

I know re pricing... it is crazy. I think boden price taking their multiple discounts into account! I paid about £57 for the coat which seems about right. But hush are hardly generous in their discounts outside proper sale time. People do seem to pay it, though, judging by the amount of stuff that goes oos so quickly.

I'm not sure I'm afraid ella! I must have signed up for emails at some point... but the things in the email don't seem to have made it onto the website as far as I can see. I can forward it if you DM me your address. Its only stuff you've said previously, though!

Ellapaella · 02/06/2019 22:30

Ach no it's ok- just curious that was all. Is anyone up for starting a new thread?

@sheep I’d also had my eye on the Boden jacket but I really don’t need any more jackets.

ilovecherries · 03/06/2019 00:16

Argh - not read back but nearly finished. Will start new one as emergency :)
