Also noticed that Oasis have some really nice tops and dresses in at the moment .

EachandEveryone · 01/06/2019 17:16

I meant the swishy kimono tops someone linked on here.

dontcallmelen · 01/06/2019 17:19

Aww Each such bad luck for you, bloody horrible things hope you don’t wait to long for surgery.

neveradullmoment99 · 01/06/2019 17:25

I got the 12 and tbh, it is a bit snug. I had it on today and felt I perhaps should have sized up. Some people on the reviews say they needed a smaller size. No way! The thing is, Its looks nice neater. I think I need to lose a wee bit of weight so although I wore it today, I will put it aside atm. I may order the white in a 14 to try.

Huffthepuff · 01/06/2019 17:26

@EachandEveryone that's awful, poor you. Hope you can get it sorted quickly. And work should never make you feel like you're at fault. You're NHS aren't you? They should be more understanding than most 🙁

Hope @NotAnActualSheep is ok. Not heard from you for a bit

Yes @neveradullmoment99 we need pictures of your new things!

EachandEveryone · 01/06/2019 17:37

It will be Autumn he said there will be a mesh in there, I nearly burst into tears. Its in a different hospital this time which is already making me feel anxious. At least in my own place my colleagues could pop in.

My friends are carrying all my gear thank goodness.

On a lighter note, ive applied Skinny Tan this morning and its a great even colour!

neveradullmoment99 · 01/06/2019 18:31

I love the jacket and earrings never Are they Hush earrings?
still havent caught up with you all, probably tomorrow evening now ,before i manage to read back .. Am just back in from garden , dinner cooking ( baking a turbot, yum) [wine} in hand , I have been scraping de weeding flagstone paths all day , my hands hurt and i'm knackered..

neveradullmoment99 · 01/06/2019 20:16

Thanks @Laska. Yes, they are hush earrings. I really love them.

GinandGingerBeer · 01/06/2019 20:20

Oh sorry to hear that @each, when will the surgery be?
Jealous of your upcoming Glastonbury fest, we tried but failed but tbh, family (huge Irish family) are still raw and we haven't been back since the year we lost my auntie there, 2015 I think.
If there's a way to go then she'd have been happy at having her last night ever up by the stone circle but the ground was V dry and dusty and she had COPD, sadly all the dust got on her chest.
We always go en masse but our time will come again. It's the most amazing place Smile
Kimono & Harems are a 👍🏻 combo
My Glasto uniform is a dress/denim jacket converse and a pair of primark footless thermal tights in my day bag for later. Oh and a wig for both warmth and to hide bad hair Grin

Tonight's outfit is the hush leopard skirt and shell pink vest top. Combo goes well but It adds lbs due to lining in both skirt n top.

Wish we were here longer Sad

GinandGingerBeer · 01/06/2019 20:21

Ooh those earrings SmileSmile
Gorgeous

GinandGingerBeer · 01/06/2019 20:22

dontcallmelen · 01/06/2019 20:23

Laska definitely enjoy your dinner & 🍷

Ellapaella · 01/06/2019 20:23

Sorry to hear of your health woes each.
I'm having a glass of wine and lusting over Sezane clothes on eBay - I put a bid in for a beautiful silk blouse but unfortunately didn't win it. It went for crazy money. I have won a bid for a lovely white All Saints dress though, for the bargain price of £4.20.

Ellapaella · 01/06/2019 20:24

Ps what I actually came on say and got distracted by eBay bidding wars was that jacket is beautiful @neveradullmoment99 as are the earrings.

Am jealous of Glastonbury go-ers. My finest year at Glasto was 2003, saw Radiohead and REM headline the same night. Was just amazing.

dontcallmelen · 01/06/2019 20:28

Aww Gin that’s sad, another one here from a huge Irish family I think it’s in our DNA to have tragedies.
Enjoy your last evening, glad you have had a lovely time.

dontcallmelen · 01/06/2019 20:30

Ella I love REM, always reminds me of my best friend, ooh fab bargain with the dress.

EachandEveryone · 01/06/2019 20:43

God your Aunt died at the Stone Circle? 😪 we are a group of 12 and got very lucky this year. We glamp but its still hard work. Its the feet im having an issue with they are still really painful and flat. I bought a pinnafore today Im far too old for it but the fashions are so late 80’s and I will be seeing Bananarama, Kylie and The Cure in one day so Im thinking of stripey top and a scarf in my hair! I put The Cure on whilst i was ironing today isnt it amazing how you remember every word to every song even if you havent heard them for 30 years?

Laska2Meryls · 01/06/2019 21:34

REM Nightswimming THE Best .Ever

I wanted to marry Micheal Stipe (for his voice)

Laska2Meryls · 01/06/2019 21:38

Slla I am so so envious, Radiohead and REM .. I have never been to a festival..(even IOW and I live here!) now I am about to retire, I think its time..

Laska2Meryls · 01/06/2019 21:40

Ella not Slla!! (stupid typing) Turbot was fab btw - one of the advantages of living on an island , is the great seafood Smile

Laska2Meryls · 01/06/2019 21:41

Each I just love the Cure also ...Envy

Laska2Meryls · 01/06/2019 21:52

Gin enjoy yourlast holiday day, -until the next one!! I didn't realise you had 'hair things' going on as well.. There are a few of us here, .. so you are in good company -. I have Trichotillomania. (I really do hate that is known as a 'mania' - a name given to the condition from the late 1800s which has never been updated as its still quite under the radar ) as it sounds like I am mad!! - Its an OCD thing really ..

Ho hum, but that is why I have v,v short hair (and currently dye it pink,) because that's the only way I can bear having hair at all .. Weird I know, but at 61 I have got used to being like this now (its the 'world' that judges feminine beauty and is censorious, not us trichs and such like .....Hair or not , so what? ..
