I popped out for a little RL shopping, got a couple of bargains in Laura Ashley they had 40% got a cream linen jacket & two nice cotton tops.

Laska I’m still debating the salt waters, are they comfy for stomping about? I saw them in office today but didn’t have any in my size, also I think I could probably get away with the children’s size which would make them a bit cheaper.

Yes I think so @Laska2Meryls. I had the same panic but 95% sure they are using UK sizes.

So it's entirely your fault. Will collect on Tuesday. I went into a real life Topshop yesterday and was really disappointed.
Love these mid length dress as they work so well with trainers but you still look quite done up!

@melen, went into Matalan and I saw the lovely jacket you linked too but it was in black. It was gorgeous. Decided not to buy it atm as I have quite a few jackets although it was lovely and beautifully made.
I bought a pair of tencil trousers from next - chambray. I sized down in them as I preferred a slimmer outline. Will post a few pics later.

@melen I am so tempted to get the Matalan jacket but I like both colours! Does it come up true to size?

Sounds like you’ve had fun at L.Ashley too @melen...what are your bargains? I haven’t shopped in Laura Ashley in years actually. I went a bit off it around 3/4 years ago when I received some online stuff and returned it all, but I may have been unlucky so I’ll make a mental note of popping in next time I’m in Norwich (there’s a branch there).

We did more gardening this afternoon and a bit windy here too but still lovely and warm. It’s been great for chilling and tomorrow we’re out for a pub lunch with old friends. Good job I don’t get a relaxing 3 day weekend every week...too much time spent browsing all the Bank Holiday offers.
Caved in and ordered the Gudrun trousers in b/w print as I love the blue ones so much and I know will last for years, got free delivery and a purse gift which I’ve no idea what it’ll be like (no pic, just added to basket automatically) but you don’t look a horse gift in the mouth/was just glad of the free delivery (they usually charge on orders below £75). AND THEN...swimwear! Of course! Spain again. Have ordered figleaves swimsuit and matching beach dress “just to try” (they have 25% off this weekend) and picked up a Fantasie bargainous black bikini on Amazon too. I have to buy cup sized swimwear so for me high street options/sales are out of the question.

I think I really really STOP now! More than enough wallet damage done this bank hol weekend...

never yeah no point if you have lots of jackets Soups pretty true to size I have a size 8 & it’s roomy but not massive on me I’m usually a 6/8 depending on shop.

Ooh sounds a good haul Soy yy cup swimwear always looks much better on, I got a really nice cream linen jacket & couple of cotton tops will post a pic if I can get any half decent ones later.

And Ella you look fab with that broderie top and harems. Does anything look average on you? totally fab as always

never I have very spindly arms, so probably why it was ok on me they match my twiggy legs😂

@Soups... So glad foot’s looking better! Keep up the salt baths a few times a day for a few days and it might do the trick, but please keep an eye on your temp. Don’t discount going to the doctor if you feel bad! X

Ive rolled them up as i prefer them this way. Also sized down as the 12s were quite baggy.

Len I find saltwaters comfy but they do have thin flat soles and so if you like a padded insole you might not.
Never do like those next chinos, did you link to them?
We have had really fun day with DD and dgcs . Gardening was also good. Just off to bed, exhausted again, but have realised that I have really dirty fingernails.. from all the geranium potting on. So tired... not sure that I can actually be bothered to do them.. country park with tree walks and tobboganing tomorrow, heck , grandchildren are full on!!

Hope everyone is having a nice BH Monday. We're off out soon to a local museum we had been wanting to visit for a while. Think the hi-light will be the vintage cafe!

We are home-home in Scotland now, readying the camper for a holiday in two weeks. Tomorrow we head back to England. I currently have no idea what country I’m in, which day of the week it is, or which bed I am sleeping in. Knackered.
