Is this a good "going out" outfit?

Recently left a ltr and my friend wants to take me out on Friday night. Dinner and clubbing - eeeeeek! I am 38 and feel quite nervous.

Don't want to dress up too far out of my comfort zone, because clubbing is so wildly out of my comfort zone as it is. But I want to look attractive, too!

I have black leather-look leggings and a slouchy black v-neck t-shirt. I have black flats. I intend to straighten my hair poker-straight and wear minimal makeup (literally just mascara and lip gloss). Silver bracelet. Black nail varnish (because it makes me feel tough for some reason!).

Is this a good plan??

Well done for getting there! I really liked your outfit. I quite fancy that t shirt myself. I think it’s a good idea to go places and check out what people are wearing-I love a bit of people watching.

I quite fancy going to a gig next. Probably a better place for a plain black t-shirt.....
