Thank you so much for all the suggestions of lavender/vanilla scents. These sound amazing. I'm almost tempted to blind buy Mon Guerlain (but must resist...). I want to try the others too.

I have this vivid scent-memory of a Body Shop vanilla body spray that I used to adore as a teenager!

Thanks also for the sympathy re toddler. It is really intense right now! A random lady on the street stopped and sympathetically asked me if I needed any help (with howling toddler). I guess the Anima Vinci Wood of Life perfume, although it smelled great, did not help me to emanate a zen-like sense of calm...

There is a half-used bottle of Chanel Jersey on ebay which is lavender/vanilla...quite tempting.

I get the orange blossom, and a sweet note (sugar?) But I dont get a petrol note.

buffy, yes, Freeway is quite bizarre. When I first tried it on I thought it was a bit insane (but I could definitely smell burning rubber). Now I love it. What gives?! I have no idea how it works but it's totally won me round.

It's bucketing down here too now. It was beautiful this morning, so I went to Hot Yoga for the first time in weeks. I could actually do some of the poses I haven't been able to do for years due to losing some weight.
Fleur du matin sprayed lightly because of yoga .
It's forecast to rain continuously for the next few days.
Does anyone have a specific perfume for this?
Am I the only one not to have a single Avon perfume?

SOTD is The Merchant of Venice: Venetian Blue. Thought it would be quite apt as Venice & blue make one think water.
All I can smell is black pepper & lemon/bergamot as still full of this cold!

Started the day in Rosa Ribes. SotE is Traversee du Bosphore, but feeling the need for something even warmer. Central heating is fired up, and boots and jumper out ready for tomorrow.
