I really really would like better hair. It’s my birthday soon and my mum has offered for me to go and have it done properly somewhere nice! It’s not been cut for about 8 months. I find it a bit stressful (and expensive) going to the hairdressers. I feel like a change but I don’t think there’s much I can do with it? I will be 37 so knocking on a bit now... secretly I’d quite like pink put in the ends of it 😂

You look great. You need to stop the negativity. Just think - you wouldn't let someone talk to your daughter the way you talk to yourself.

I think a fringe suits you but fuller and blunter. And go lighter blond. Cut and colour will make your eyes really stand out. I'd go for a sharp bob.

Wow your new hair looks fantastic on you! You look very youthful and pretty, and “current”. Your hair looks great in a bob, definitely better with a side fringe or no fringe, and please please ignore your mother!

I have been following this thread and I actually said WOW out loud when I saw your new haircut! Your cheekbones are the dogs bollocks!
