Brexit induced anxiety might make me want to go stabby with needles? I'm not sure what's causing it, Red, potentially just something else that's bothering you (emotionally) and this is where you're focusing your thoughts on instead?
I'm personally not a fan of Botox, mostly because it's more an aesthetic than anything else, it's not anti-ageing as such and if it's done wrong or at the wrong time it just accentuates the disparity within the face itself and that only becomes more obvious as you get older. IMO it can be useful on very expressive people from their early thirties into early forties (if they feel they are prematurely ageing) as you still have a decent baseline so it's just a softening of expression that reads as ageing and will actually stop wrinkles from setting in deeply but they'd need a really good skincare routine alongside it.
Having seen you in person, I wouldn't say there's any need for it and I doubt it would really suit you. If you did want to pursue something that's a little beyond skincare I'd suggest looking into laser as it's much more about elevating your skin to looking your best as a whole whilst tackling things like fine lines, slackening and pigmentation.
It'll make you look good for your age rather than fighting it. Debbie Thomas in London is excellent (probably the best in the UK) for custom made treatments as she has several different lasers, it's a different price point though as it's a lot of investment up front.
Flo, yes the two shades warmer was interesting to me too. I've never been able to get a colour match with foundation as I inherited my mother's olive undertones and my father's pale skin. With concealer I have naturally gravitated to a shade or two warmer as my colour or lighter always makes me look washed out and sallow.
