Kate's boots are bloody awful.

It would be political dynamite for Kate to wear either green or orange to Northern Ireland.
Red is good as the Ulster flag is a red hand on a white background.

Lol I really think Kate went a lot of years on the “I wear Hobbs” train, and when MM started wearing more expensive stuff so is Kate! I’d rather see both of them in more high st labels (and use a tailor to fit them), but seem to be in the minority on this one! Eg Kate has gone from Hobbs/ LK Bennett to more McQueen and Carolina Herrera

I know this thread isn't about the politics and I know they had to make it an unannounced trip, but imagine the progress that's been made to let the Royals do an NI trip at all. Let's hope that progress carries on being made. I'm half Northern Irish - it's lovely to see things gong in the right direction. Let's not lose that!

The red coat looks too much like a dress to be worn with anything on the legs except tights. I like the boots!

Yay for a repeat! That is being PR savvy. When one member of the RF is being accused of spending money on clothes like water, you make sure you wear a repeat.

I like the coat and the boots actually I don't like the sleeves on the jumper showing at the bottoms of the coat but that's about all it's a very safe Kate outfit! Do we know anything about this visit is it a day or longer??

As for Kate's re wear being PR savy, after the angry frog dress, the BAFTAs gown and then the Gucci and the tweed suit she was due a re wear really

To be fair to Meghan, she can't really rewear anything from a year ago, apart from coats, as they won't fit!

I like Sophie's look today! Sleek, and colourful enough. The red really suits Kate, and it's a multi-rewear as she wore it in Paris too. The boots I like, but the cricket jumper is not to my taste - it's just such a flat jumper. There will be evening wear today, too!

Its a good outfit for sports.
I like the jeans/leggings but she always wears such tight bottoms, they don't look comfortable. Why? We know she's thin with great legs. At least she wears them with trainers and flats now and not the huge Weitzman, LK Bennett and R&B wedges of the past! The Queen hates wedges.
I like the jumper although it's a bit too 'cricket'.
The boots are a bit weird and prissy. Are they the ones she wore with the Kermit dress?
The coat has too much volume at the bottom and I don't like the big buttons. I wonder how much coats she has? It's definitely one of the finest coat collections in the world though. 😂

Really don't like that jumper. £125 and it just looks old and baggy.

Just got held up on the way back from Tesco by W&K’s motorcade, which was a lot more dramatic that what I’d imagine it would be in the rest of the UK!

Kate in a lurex Missoni this evening. Not a British designer - quelle horreur! I like the cut but I'm still not convinced ice blue is her best colour.

The dress is described as green so I guess it is a pale aqua colour. an improvement on ice blue.
