Thanks for the code SoyYo, much appreciated. I have ordered the Amie joggers (sized down) the black halo star jumper (sale item), the Farah midi dress and the lovely ombre top as modelled above.

SoyYo · 28/02/2019 20:57

Hi Kaz glad the code worked!
You did the right thing sizing down in the Amies and I totally love your choices (I have the black Halo jumper you will love it and the ombré T too as modelled above Wink)
The dress looks lovely so let us know what you think on receipt Smile

whiskyremorse · 01/03/2019 08:15

@Soy I am a curly girl too and agree that following the method to whatever extent suits your hair is the way forward! I have my hair cut by Vicky Queen of Curls when I am organised enough to book ahead and am always disappointed if I go elsewhere. Your curls are beautiful

twosoups1972 · 01/03/2019 10:54

soy and whisky interesting about cutting. I didn't realise until recently how much her hair (well the frizz) bothered dd. And because she's ASD and the youngest of 3 girls I probably baby her a bit and didn't notice her wanting to be more teen-like Blush

On NYE it all came to a head - we were going to meet dh after work and dd had a meltdown about her hair and nearly refused to go. I managed to calm her down and once in town, I found a hairdresser who had availability with half price for children! So she had her hair cut and dried and she was SO much happier. After then I researched curly girl and asked friends with curly hair for tips. I don't think dd would consider not using shampoo at all but we're using a low-sulphate one and then using Cantu curl activator afterwards.

NotAnActualSheep · 01/03/2019 11:30

Oh goodness - it does look like the ombre top is turning into the new meryl...So many of us considering it - especially after seeing it on soy!

justilou - I looooove a colourful jumper - You've done well! especially pink and red.

cherries - sorry to hear you're still suffering. YY to the others saying take it easy, and take time to yourself to recover. You've had pretty major surgery, so you wouldn't necessarily expect to be feeling yourself only a couple of weeks later given what your body has to do to "reboot". And keep taking the pain meds! Also ella - hope you're feeling even better today (though not better enough not to need to be waited on by DH and watch netflix while dungarees-browsing...)

laska - as usual you look brilliant! That is such a lovely shirt. Nowt wrong with your legs at all...(I'd second the pilates thing though. We didn't do "legs" this week - but i can still feel my shoulders suffering from Wednesday's stretching...and it didn't look as if we were doing anything at all!)

codfish and kaz - lovely sounding orders! Definitely interested in hearing what you think of the Farah dress and the hortensia - which cherries loves...

miffy - sorry to hear of the osteoarthritis. That's a bit of a bummer - It must be such a hassle having to re-learn how to do stuff you've done naturally all your life. Flowers for you. I can sympathise with your difficulties knowing what to buy! I have to say, as well as the ombre tee I do loooove the zebra jacquard. I think it looks just that bit too orangey for me (more so than the dress/shirt in the same pattern to my eyes) but it is fab.

I'm afraid I've fallen off len's bench big time Sad - didn't take long. Though I have almost made up my credit card bill over feb so I don't feel too bad for a few little spends any more, as long as I keep it under control. I've ordered the zebra alvers dress, and found a blue helena in a 12 (phew). And also the mint green oakland, blue santana and cami and the stripey trainers (hooray!). And the petra skirt from the sale and the ombre top Blush because I am an actual sheep Am seriously hoping some goes back...

And all this talk of dungarees/ pinafores has reminded me to pull out my denim pinafore dress to wear today (an eBay bargain from the summer which I don't think I've ever worn Blush ). So I've got that with a pink cardigan over. I feel quite spring-y.

NotAnActualSheep · 01/03/2019 11:33

Dress and cardigan. And also view on the way to school this morning...(cropped, to exclude the v unappealing dual carriageway.. ).

Not I love love love your pinafore dress. Is it a Toast one? It looks lovely coupled with the bright pink of the cardi. Loving the view :) Its very dull here sadly. Just cloud! Where abouts are you? [ I probably ask that a million times on here but I forget!] I'm just outside Glasgow and its miserable as hell.
Well ordered the chino skirt [ longer version as I will wear it more] and just one of the hush pink V-neck slubs. Should arrive tomorrow.
I have been having a bit of a time with my cycling exercise machine.
Display didn't function properly so have had to send it back and honestly what a carry on. I was actually feeling very stressed and anxious about it. Anway, they should collect today or I am going to scream!!!!
Nuff said. I have also ordered the fatface dungarees in blue denim just to try [after @cherries rave reviews!]

Oliver Bonas have some gorgeous tea dresses in if anyone ya feeling Spring like. No good for my H cups sadly.

Nothing is pulling me into Hush at the moment.

neveradullmoment99 · 01/03/2019 11:50

Off to make a bacon roll Blush

neveradullmoment99 · 01/03/2019 11:56

Im not really a t-dress person but I have liked some of Oliver Bonas before. I do think the quality is not that great. Have ordered a shirt, linen dress before and found them a bit thin for the price but the sales are great.

Huffthepuff · 01/03/2019 12:23

Hello ladies! 👋
Glad to hear Cherries and Ella are on the mend. Lots of resting up needed 💐

Soyyo and Laska love your new buys! Not the pinafore is gorgeous on you

All my Hush items have arrived now. I panic ordered 4 times in the end trying to get the most out of the 10% off while it lasted. I sent back both pairs of jeans but worryingly not a lot else will be going back. Have taken a few pics.
I bought the girlfriend chinos, Santana skirt, denim skirt, white l/l vest, grey wide jersey top, Bryce culottes and Henley trainers.

Not sure about the Santana skirt as the fabric is shinier and finer than expected however it fits well and I'm worried I'll regret sending it back when the weather warms up. Don't want to end up rebuying later on when I would have to pay full price

Huffthepuff · 01/03/2019 12:27

Here's the denim skirt, chinos and Bryce culottes. The culottes are gorgeous but maybe a bit too much fabric? They hang well but not sure how flattering they are. I bought a 12 and don't think the 10 would fit. I need an 11 🤨
Chinos are so soft and lovely. Too big on the waist but I needed to size up for my bum and hips
Love the denim skirt and the label has come off already

wearenotacodfish · 01/03/2019 12:30

Huffle I love the culottes and I can see why you took the tag off the skirt. Definitely a keeper.

I'm about to go to a designer outlet not too far from here I'm planning a mooch round Sainsbury's and M&S whilst I am there too.

neveradullmoment99 · 01/03/2019 12:45

@Huff imo -
The things to keep are the denim skirt, black santana. The wide jersey top is nice but it looks a little big?
The culottes are ok. Im not fussed for the chinos tbh. I think they look a bit frumpy [ its not you it is the chinos!]

OP posts:
Huffthepuff · 01/03/2019 12:50

Thanks Cod

I also bought the short sleeve black ivy and another v-neck white t-shirt but I'm sure you know them so well already they don't warrant photos. The ivy is fab and I've worn it to work already 🤗

The girlfriend chinos aren't short on me although I know that's been an issue for others. I'm 5.6 but have short legs. In the photo I've rolled them up twice

Keeping two pairs of jeans I ordered from Topshop I think. Sending one pair back that were so short on me I didn't even bother doing them up! Much happier with these than the Hush ones. I've uploaded too many pics for the MN app now but can send tomorrow if anyone interested in straight leg jeans!

Huffthepuff · 01/03/2019 12:57

Thanks Never! The wide jersey is quite tight on the arms but that style always looks a bit loose on the body I think. It's just soooooo comfy I don't think I can bear to part with it!!

neveradullmoment99 · 01/03/2019 13:24

Well I know Huff I have 3!!! In fact I am wearing a charcoal one. Also tempted by the striped one on the hush website but i don't really tend to wear stripes. Wish that they had come out with different colours.

I forgot to say i got the insect skirt in the hush sale. Its long but its gorgeous and for £30 totally worth it. enabling

Omg. I have seen my boobs. Had a miserable night with some sort of allergic reaction to the new dressings they put on yesterday, so had to go back today. Before they were re-dressed with the old dressings I’ve had till now, he handed me a mirror. I have the breasts of a buxom but perky 25 year old! Still extremely bruised and swollen (and now also with added itchy blisters), but they are so PERKY! With forward facing nipples! I’m a little gob smacked tbh. I somehow imagined a smaller version of the droopy, sagging monstrosities I had before, not a set that look like I’ve stolen my daughter’s. I actually have a large gap between boobs and belly button now. The scars are ginormous - mid line to underarm, then another one from fold to nipple than right round nipple whereit was reattached, but very neat and I’m assured healing well and given I’m so fair skinned will probably fade to fine white lines. He did say though ‘so now do you understand why you feel rough?’ I’ve lost about 7-8 cup sizes so far, and I can expect another 2-3 over the next three months. Can’t believe it’s only been two weeks.
