Oh dear @Laska2Meryls - that's not good..
Yes dear dog and I can take a trip their for you... I like the idea of revenge poo 😁💩💩

Ellapaella · 28/02/2019 12:42

*there not their!

twosoups1972 · 28/02/2019 12:46

soy another vote for the ombre top from me! The colours are stunning but agree with laska maybe try a size down?

Ellapaella · 28/02/2019 12:49

Have I missed something about Sainsbury's dungarees? Am intrigued as if anyone finds some nice ones I might be tempted to try.
Slightly concerned that all this sitting in the sofa will not be good for my bank balance!

EachandEveryone · 28/02/2019 12:49

Omg I’m at the walk in blood clinic it’s at 389 and I’m 470.....:.

I’m going up to Glasgow I’m Sunday if anyone can predict the weather.

Laska2Meryls · 28/02/2019 12:50

I 'Theired' in error also Ella Lets blame autocorrect Grin

Laska2Meryls · 28/02/2019 12:55

I see those sale trousers have lots of sizes in the black stripe soy but sadly only 14 left in the pink .. £35 too..

Hush are hanging on to their sale stock offer for a long time this year, aren't they?

SoyYo · 28/02/2019 13:02

How annoying about your coat return @laska! Angry good to see @Ella happy to oblige with canine companion 🤣
On the ombré t good idea! Maybe a S is needed, I do love the colours they’re stunning so I’ll try that and yes I’ll return the dress (surplus to requirements me and Hush dresses don’t get on).
On the pink stripe trousers yes that is them! Bargain in the sale but the 10 fit me fine so 14 would be huge, must have grabbed the last ones in that size and took a punt as 12 were ooo when I ordered 2 days ago.
I reckon they’ll remove the sale items today (end of Feb) so if anyone is still hesitating on a final sale purchase may be worth taking the plunge now? Or maybe they’ve changed their sale policy as business with brexshite may not be as brisk as last year Hmm

SoyYo · 28/02/2019 13:05

@Each I don’t understand the numbers, hope your blood clinic visit is okay?
On weather supposed to get colder at the weekend 🙄

SoyYo · 28/02/2019 13:07

Correction me and Hush dresses don’t get on EXCEPT the Greek widow and Jamie T shirt dresses from last year which I totally ❤️

NotAnActualSheep · 28/02/2019 13:30

Yay soy - glad we've enabled persuaded you on the ombre top. I'm definitely trying that, alongside the zebra dress (not that i'm counting down the hours until tomorrow when I can place an order or anything...I feel like when you arrive at the checkout in the supermarket with a bottle of wine, and it's before 10am...). Yes - trying a smaller one may help you - though I'd try both together before sending one back. Pity about the culottes - though the tailored ones may be better? I find those kind of trousers only work if you have a very precise leg length (which I never have) so always end up having to get them altered - though not worth it if you don't love them...

On the rayon/ sweat thing - I thing you overestimate my tolerance of heat soy Grin I melt at about 20 degrees - dry or not..which is well within the bounds of british summer. I'm a right wuss.

Glad I'm not the only one who has ironing issues justilou! But ouch is all I can say...

laska what a pain.... It is always surprising when that happens - I'd have thought companies would have realised quite how much it annoys people. (also - when you order something over a threshold of free postage, then return something, and they refund you minus the cost of what the postage would have been (MV...I'm looking at you...)). But yy to revengepoo...

ella - I posted a link to some sains dungarees/ jumpsuit a few pages back...(was last night early evening at some point). Just google Tu denim jumpsuit or petite denim dungarees (can't find the non-petite ones online - but there were definitely some in store). There was loads of nice stuff when I went in briefly yesterday - I nearly took a photo of the really colourful display - but was in a rush (as usual) and thought people might think I was weird.

each - I think its anyone's guess what will be happening in Glasgow at the weekend... the weather is supposed to worsen apparently, and it's a bit "dreich" here (not Glasgow) today. Sad Hope the blood test is OK - I always get confused with the numbers too...

justilou1 · 28/02/2019 13:34

@laska- I love the idea of training dogs to do revenge poos. Ivy is a shameless tart and would undoubtedly be cringe-flirting with whomever I had taken umbrage just to mortify me further. The dodgier the bloke, the better! (She is gorgeous, but utterly, utterly useless at being a dog.)

Fashion news! I have taken advantage of the minor (and no-doubt temporary) drop in temperature to order some knitwear from the UNIQLO U (Lemaire ) collection. I might have just ordered four jumpers. (Because I needed more, right?) I am justifying it this way.... None of them are black, grey or khaki! One is..... wait for it........... drumroll..... fanfare....... trumpet voluntary....... it’s brown!!! (Gasp!) One is the wild, out-there shade of millenial pink (told you!!!).... Now here’s where I went really off-piste.... the others two are yellow and red! (OMG..... Mc Donald’s eeeew)

ilovecherries · 28/02/2019 13:59

I’m so glad you are home ella. I shall be joining you on the netflix sofa this afternoon, I’m knackered after a morning at Spire. And still not allowed a shower. Plus my nipples feel ready to ping off and shoot across the room.

Love the ombré top, Soy, it really suits you. Not so sure about the dress, and the trousers and Starla are both lovely. I have the trousers in black and have worn them a lot.

Laska2Meryls · 28/02/2019 14:23

Ok Helena Shirt, modeled here with last years Hush black denim shorts and lily white legs!.(which really need some toning up) .

I have kept the 10, its fine but if it shrinks I am done for , but the 12 was still far too big, I am hoping to lose lots some more weight and get those boobs and tum down!! Sadly it was the14 I ordered with the10%off, but ah well..
Oooh Cherries that sounds painful, I hope they settle down soon..

***Hushistas SS19 Part 1!!!!!***
justilou1 · 28/02/2019 14:31

Poor @Cherries.... wonder if you should try the old midwives’ trick of chucking cabbage leaves in your bra....? Perhaps it only affects lactating boobages. (Or perhaps it’s bolleux) Does anything help? Perhaps you’ve been pushing yourself too much. I know you’re supposed to walk a bit, but not exactly run marathons.

ilovecherries · 28/02/2019 14:32

How far down does the ombré top come at the back, Soy? I tend not to do well with things with a very low back.

laska, I’m in bloody agony. Having not needed any analgesia for the first 10 days and thinking it was all vastly over exaggerated, since my nerves started to come alive again I walk about with one eye on my watch and the other on the paracetamol. It’s miserable. I’ve taken to keeping maternity breast pads in the freezer.

Laska2Meryls · 28/02/2019 14:39

oh god, Poor you cherries what did they say at the hospital , can they give you anything stronger to take? I'm sure though it will be worth it in the end .. but yes possibly best to try and take it easier for a couple of weeks , rather than carrying on with the long walks ..

Im interested in how far that ombre top comes down also , i dont like showing bra straps

Laska2Meryls · 28/02/2019 14:42

btw the 12 Helena id the same size in the bust as the 12 I have in last years green Hortensa shirt , both loose on me but not so much as on the model (as you can see ).. i need to go to the post office to return stuff now

neveradullmoment99 · 28/02/2019 14:50

@soyo. No offence taken. Truly i love it on you. Love the starla blouse and those trousers are super flattering.
Love the blouse laska Beautiful colour.
Ouch cherries! Sound like hell. How did you get on with the ff dungarees?

OP posts:
ilovecherries · 28/02/2019 15:01

I really like the dungarees. Soft on, loads of room to move. Tried them with a white tee shirt and my leopard trainers and really liked them. Haven’t let anyone else see them yet, mind.

It’s apparently just the nerves regenerating, it seems to ‘bother some women more than others’. They did offer me anti-neuralgia drugs but a)I spent years on them before and my experience was that they were a slow burn and took weeks to reach a level where they actually worked and b) well, I was on them for nearly a decade, and I don’t want to go there again. I have some emergency codiene if I really need it, and meanwhile just necking paracetamol and nurofen. I think bottom line is that I had a massive reduction and there would have been a lot of soft tissue trauma. On the plus side, they appear to be ‘beautiful’, healing well, and looking good. Still haven’t seen them myself though, as no mirror in the treatment room.

Ellapaella · 28/02/2019 15:01

What dungarees? I need to know! 😁 who has been ordering dungarees - need some feedback so I can decide if I want some!

Cherries that sounds very painful, can you take ibuprofen on top of your paracetamol? I find the two together work wonders for pain (I take them together for migraines).

Ellapaella · 28/02/2019 15:02

Sorry cross post with you cherries
What dungarees have you ordered?

ilovecherries · 28/02/2019 15:11

FatFace sale for mine. They seem to be £40 online, but I bought them for the’buy it or it’s gone’ rail in store for £25.

SoyYo · 28/02/2019 15:35

@laska blue shirt looks really great 🙌 and your legs are fabulous (I’ve developed wrinkly knees wtf is that about?) and if you want to tone up I wish you’d live closer cause I’d recommend my Pilates instructor. She made us do something with our legs on Monday, tiniest movement but by God I felt it (hopefully it’ll tone up legs though nothing I think can help ageing wrinkly knees)

I’m sorry you’re so uncomfortable and sore cherries agree with justi you really should slow down a little and just indulge in Netflix. Glad the dungarees are a winner!

Right you lot will bankrupt me! Enabled by your lovely comments I’ve now ordered the ombré T in S and will compare with the M before deciding which to keep.
The back “V” is fine it didn’t show my (substantial) bra strap. As I can’t take a pic by myself I’ll ask one of my DS later to take a pic of the back and will post but I’ve exceeded today’s MN max with the 3 pics I posted earlier so it may be tomorrow before I can post.

@not yes being a subtropics girl I always vastly underestimate how much my dear Brit friends suffer in the heat. They’re all puffing and huffing in 30C while I’m just starting to enjoy the moderate heat Grin

SoyYo · 28/02/2019 15:42

And justi it’s great you ordered bright colours for your jumpers. I tend to default to lugubrious colours in the winter and really trying to make a conscious effort to wear “happier” colours (eg the ombré t)
