Actually noticed that M&S have quite a few nice silk blouses. One has a nice grandad collar. Pity it isn't that long. The prices are very good for pure silk.

Actually they have the v back and v front vest in silk.

Its very 'jigsaw' Beautiful in the grey and very practical in the black. Not a bad price too.

in the black for me!

Laska2Meryls · 10/02/2019 20:25

Oh, that M&S silk top in the dusky rose would probably look fab with the paprika Santana ...

neveradullmoment99 · 10/02/2019 20:25

Laska -Is the the same colour?
You can ring the changes though with a top and bottom.

Laska2Meryls · 10/02/2019 20:25

I need an M&S code though!

neveradullmoment99 · 10/02/2019 20:26

I think you should keep it. You can use the cami with shorts and skirt with other tops?

OP posts:
Laska2Meryls · 10/02/2019 20:26

yes it is pretty much I think ( I will compare tomorrow)

neveradullmoment99 · 10/02/2019 20:28

All my summer stuff is packed away. I have about a million Grecian tops. Looking forward to unpacking them all when summer comes actually. I hope they do another dress like that. Sad I missed out.

neveradullmoment99 · 10/02/2019 20:30

I don't think they showed any in the PR shots but they did other things for high summer.

Omg Laska thank you for the link, yippee yes they will fit once my self enforced purdah is over, they are the first thing I’m buying.
Oooh Never this shirts are lush.

Laska2Meryls · 10/02/2019 20:40

That black M&S grandad is lovely.. It does look a bit short though..(I am long in the body)

dontcallmelen · 10/02/2019 20:42

Oh my the shell top is lovely, am rather fond of a shell top so useful under jackets (cries as I want the vest, the shell & the shirt😢)

Laska2Meryls · 10/02/2019 20:43

..and with wideish shoulders and ribs but quite small hips! Perhaps I was actually supposed to be a bloke? .... but then there are those boobs Grin ..

neveradullmoment99 · 10/02/2019 20:56

@Laska a bloke Grin
The silk blouses/tops are pretty good prices. The grandad one would have been perfect if it was kind of tunic style -long and flowing. Pity.

Ellapaella · 10/02/2019 21:29

Laska I'm the same - 36 inch chest and narrow hips, flat bum. I like to think I have 'athletic potential' build Wink

dontcallmelen · 10/02/2019 21:35

I don’t think I have a body description build, apart from being the same size as your now average eleven year old 😂I could maybe be an Oompa Loompa.

Babygrey7 · 10/02/2019 21:57

Neveradullmoment99, I have a similar top to the coral silk one from Reiss, love wearing it with black cardi andblack skinnied

Love the look of the MS olive silk, but silk is not machine washable, such a faff

neveradullmoment99 · 10/02/2019 22:01

I think the M&S ones are machine washable silk?

OP posts:
neveradullmoment99 · 10/02/2019 22:02

Yes machine wassable at 30 degrees @babygrey

Big hush box in hall :). Dashing out to meeting, but should be a couple of pairs of trousers, leisel skirt and a red Kensington, which popped up in a 12 over the W/e. If it’s anything like the state of the navy ones were it will be going straight back, but thought I’d give it another try. I did find it lovely and cool, very comfy, and modest for sightseeing last year, so hopefully it will be ok - however, it’s has probably been delivered andreturned many times already!

twosoups1972 · 11/02/2019 12:38

cherries sounds great, looking forward to seeing pictures.

never those M&S shirts look great, I like the look of the long-sleeved one in olive.

NotAnActualSheep · 11/02/2019 15:32

Oooh - that sounds exciting cherries. Looking forward to seeing how you get on. I do like the duckegg kensington i got in autumn, but I think it'll be more of a spring dress really. Just feels a bit wrong to me with tights, but it is lovely and floaty and will be good with bare legs I think. Hope you're keeping OK, and your germ dodging is being successful!

Loving all the hallway/ furniture porn. I feel very inadequate...our hallway is currently cluttered with various shoes/ bags/ things waiting a trip to the charity shop - and even in its "clean" state isn't as lovely as yours Sad. And it's nice seeing/ hearing how everyone's hauls have turned out. Sounds as if the santana + cami combo is a winner. I may try that, once I decide I am allowed to buy stuff again. But sorry the cactus tee was a bit of a disappointment, laska - what a shame..maybe worth another go if it goes into the sale?

Also love the silk tees never posted - and particularly the shark saltwaters (silver ones mmmmmm)... They may be another purchase for the summer. Toes are one of the ever increasing parts of me that I never put on display (alongside knees, thighs, upper arms and tummy...), so they look promising in terms of their closed-toe-ness.

I also have a confession...I may have ordered those cropped trousers at £0, which I though was quite a good price (and free delivery). And nothing else, because then i would have bought something, which I am not doing in February. (I only tried to see if it would let me - fully expecting an email the following morning to tell me not to be so ridiculous). However, allegedly they have been despatched, and are sitting in Manchester... I'm expecting an empty box to be delivered. And if they do arrive, the chances they are the wrong size or don't suit me are probably quite high - but we'll see. I feel a bit guilty, really, as they probably did not intend to discount them so heavily, though invitation to treat, terms and conditions of contract etc etc etc - they had several opportunities to decline my offer.
