Did anyone get the Bloom email about snow inspired perfumes?
To that end I’m going to dig out any choices for this in my samples and bottle collection. So today is Pure Distance White sprayed very lightly.

Have tried The Modernist tonight - I like the frankincense/labdanum heart, but it's another Byredo lookalike (half the niche box seems to be doing the spare monochrome thing), and I'm not really getting the concept (it has a stable mates called Geist and Nihilism. Seems deadly serious rather than being a Killianesque send-up, unless I'm missing something...?).

Now puzzling on what something called Nihilism should smell like?

Morning all.

Busy day today but just popping on to say the Perfume Parlour bottles I ordered arrived really quickly, I was very impressed. But the important bit is the dupe of In Love Again (Induce) which has made me so happy!

I know the original was re-released as limited edition recently but I couldn't afford it, so am delighted that this smells so close! It's really wonderful, grapefruity goodness. Nostalgia fest, I feel like I should have my hair in space buns and be dancing in clubs wearing teeny clothes (I won't be ). It was the first bottle of perfume DH ever bought me (I married him shortly after, these two facts may be related )

The rest of the order was good, i do have one going spare if anyone is interested - it's the Guerlain Santal Royal copy. I ordered it as I liked the sample I sent off to my advent calendar buddy so much and it's a gorgeous dupe but makes some sneeze for some reason. Happy to pop it in the post if anyone wants it?

Sympathies for back to work and school blues. Ugh January. Have already broken two of my New Year Resolutions

Popped to Debenhams at lunchtime and had a sprtiz of Chloe Nomade on my way elsewhere, as I seen it on a couple of the"best of 2018" lists. An hour later I was at the till buying a bottle! It's glorious, citrus opening but not overly so, then a lovely mossy chypre with a bit of woods too. Can't stop sniffing my hand. May be eating beans on toast at the end of this month though!

Oh and they had 100ml bottles of the Elizabeth Taylor Diamonds flankers in the sale for £15 if anyone interested.

It's gone a bit soapy now. Still lovely though!

i have a couple of old avon perfume bottles, ones a 'painted' green egg on a little stand and the others a white swan with a gold crown as the lid. I've had them since i was a child and just can't bring myself to get rid of them, no idea what used to be in them though!
