Laiste. That is a coat I could see at Sandringham tomorrow! I'm expecting lots of tartan/check and yes I'm afraid the stretchy boots are likely to make another appearance to!

Interesting about the younger royals there are pics of Charlotte and George there in 2016 but then not last year so maybe it depends on how they are behaving on the morning I imagine the Wessexs children will be there but the focus seems to be on the others so you don't tend to see much of the others, even Zara, Beatrice ect.

There was a photo up thread of Andrew when he was a teenager and he looks the spit of the DofE.

CurlyWurlyTwirly · 24/12/2018 19:21

I think church is around 10 / 10.30
They’ll want to back at the house and drinking their pre lunch martinis before noon. I’ll be having a glass of champagne by 11am at the latest!

CurlyWurlyTwirly · 24/12/2018 19:23

I think the photos of Charlotte and George were at Bucklebury in 2016.
We’ll have photos on twitter by 11am

Other young royals have been at the Christmas Day church service so perhaps George and Charlotte will do so this year?

CurlyWurlyTwirly · 24/12/2018 19:27

Kate’s jacket yesterday was Dubarry

CurlyWurlyTwirly · 24/12/2018 19:29

Danish RF at church this evening. ( they’re keen!)

Fred and Mary seen to have acquired another child there, but perhaps it's Joachim's youngest son.

Kate's jackets Dubarry
Yay ! an Irish brand, as is Jack Murphy.

ElspethFlashman · 24/12/2018 20:19

That's a nice jacket but the Jack Murphy ones are nicer, imo. And a lot cheaper! There's an outlet in Balbriggan if anyone lurking is from Leinster. Very near the ginormous Tesco.

beanaseireann · 24/12/2018 20:26

Thanks Elspeth.
I find it hilarious Kate trotting off to church on Christmas Day.
She only got confirmed just before her wedding.

QueenOfTheAndals · 24/12/2018 20:48

Same with Meghan. And Autumn Phillips was catholic until she married peter and converted to Anglicanism!

If I were staying with my in-laws and they trotted off to church on Sunday morning, I would trot off with them.....

QueenOfTheAndals · 24/12/2018 21:02

I'd send DC to church with them and enjoy having a little time to myself!

I don't get it... you don't have to be confirmed to attend church... especially on an occasion that many non-regular church goers attend, like Christmas?!?

WindyWednesday · 24/12/2018 21:03

My DH frequently trots off to church with my parents. He is catholic we are not.

CurlyWurlyTwirly · 24/12/2018 21:04

I think it is Joachim’s eldest model, son holding hands with his sister

Always grin when I see that photo of Louis.

Clionba · 24/12/2018 21:21

Louis' face is so funny! Such a cute expression!

LavenderHills · 24/12/2018 21:42

I know the thread has moved on from shorts and leggings on aristocratic little boys, but @Rhubarbisevil , I am mildly obsessed with the Mrs Alice Insta account. What is she like in real life?? Nice, or a bit much?

Want2bSupermum · 24/12/2018 21:47

Curly Danes celebrate Christmas tonight which is why the RF were going to church. They have the 25th and 26th off here and everything is shut (including the damn airport so we can't leave until the 27th). We didn't go to church today because my MiL is embarrassed to have a disabled grandson but normally the routine here is church at 5pm, dinner at 8pm, you walk around the Christmas tree singing festive songs and then open gifts. It's a nightmare routine with young DC.

Want2bSupermum · 24/12/2018 21:55

This month DH has been saving up the instagram story that the Queen releases each year. Its so amazing that she does this and I know my DC love the story told each year for the past 2 years.

IPromiseIWontBeNaughty · 24/12/2018 22:05

Just in case I can’t post tomorrow or Boxing Day wish you all a very merry Christmas Xmas Smile
