Oh good, it works. You can definitely see her “misses”. Is it me or does one image show her with more natural hair? It’s the grey blazer/dark jeans combo.

A few misses but the majority are hits to me. I like her more modern minimalist style, it's a look that's always appealed to me.

I saw that show today too, @AhoyDelBoy ... on the ABC with the delightful Annabel Crabb. It was on mute in my office (ahead of the cricket ), so I didn't catch the name either. Fab outfits though!

Anyway... as you all were, back to HM and MM and KM et al

The photo of Charles & Diana in Ottawa makes me hope the marriage wasn’t all bad.

I think more hits than misses too. And the misses seem to me to be clustered around the tour - when she was dealing with both the changes to her body shape that early pregnancy brings, and a totally new role and set of expectations. I think an awful lot of us would have a few duff outfits in that position.

There's more colour than one might expect too - it's not a total sea of navy and shades of beige!

@IPromiseIWontBeNaughty I think they probably had good moment among the bad, or at least I hope they did. Towards the end of her life I remember seeing pictures of them with William and Harry at school and they seemed on good terms. Perhaps if she'd lived everything would be very amicable by now. I doubt he'd have remarried though!

I always suspected the marriage was a bit giddy in the beginning. She was 19 and giggly and coy and buxom and hot. What man wouldn't fancy her like mad? And she later showed that she tended to fall head over heels for men, at least at first. Later she could become bitter about them but she certainly had a self admitted tenancy to "worship".

So I suspect they both were infatuated in the early days. But even before half the year was out she was throwing herself, pregnant, down the stairs to get Charles attention. So it got bad really quite quickly.

Still though there were more good days than bad and Diana later told her pal that Harry was conceived during a particularly fun Christmas with lots of tipsy parties.

There was also that story Paul Burrell told (not the most reliable but whatevs) that Charles entered some private staffers room where there was a wedding photo and he suddenly got tears in his eyes and said "we were so happy...." or something.

Kate is fab in the lace dress. The outfit not great but red was amazing on Diana.

Whilst it is undoubtedly a terrible situation to be in whereby your husband has a mistress, at the time we only really heard Diana’s side of the story. She was very good at getting her point across and had the attention of the media.

spudlet I agree with you about the misses being on the tour. In Meghan’s defence, I lived in the South Pacific for 4 years and the local attire is ... erm... interesting, flowery and flowing. I think those dresses were a nod to the local culture.

Just seen Meghan in Twickenham. Very very high heels!

Although on second glance, it is quite creased isnt it? And it looks very tight on her bump (which is huge!) I dont think its her finest look to be honest. She still looks a trillion times better than i ever did when pregnant though!

I feel so sorry for her with all the nasty press coverage and her godawful father moaning on all the time that I really dont want to not like it, if that makes sense? Poor woman!

I really like some of the DoS's dresses in the T&C link above - especially the black and navy ones. She looks so elegant in them. Less keen on the flowery or stripy ones. Sorry everyone, I know it was said that she should wear more colour but she totally rocks the black or navy look!

That photo of the lady curtseying annoys me. I know this was discussed on the last thread, but surely in today's day and age noone needs to be curtseying to anyone. Apart from HMQ of course!

The coat is from this brand, who I admit is not heard of. Lovely coats, though hers doesn't appear to be there, and not designer pricces either.

Emgee I totally agree re the curtsying and the poor woman looks like she is struggling as well!

Meghan is at the old stars home. Here she is meeting Richard O’Sullivan I remember his face but can’t remember any shows. Kudos for them having a bar in there!
